wished I had taken pics of the process, but last sunday was terribly hot/humid, took me full day to do it up, fit it into the cupboard under-neath the tank, I chose pyramid and easily available items, so u guys can modifly and improve on it, as I did...with lots of help from the web, and this site.

as best as I can fit into my schedule, constrcuted a culture staion with PVC/florescent lites from hardware store, plankton disk arrived from Florida, used brand new goodies containers, rigid pipe from garden supply, brand POPE...

now that got interested in R/O water....found this company i taiwan http://www.pure-pro.com/products.htm looks similar.....there must be some company in singapore that carries these products...cheaper rates!!

any feedback on using the unit?? love to buy one...any good singapore agent? or other brands to recommend? otherwise will look at getting this ...tried filtered seawater......natural sea water....think safer to go this tried and tested path

Now that I've armed myself with web info on culturing rotifers, and phytoplankton, will start home culture soon(ordered from http://www.florida-aqua-farms.com/.waiting for delivery,will try to set up using 1.7litres, (pineapple tarts container(plastic with red tops-new ones of course!) and keep you guys updated on progress...read somewhere that culture water should be microwaved on high for 2 minutes..true? please cmmment ,otherwise......akan datang........ work-in-progress

gonna spent time to read up on corals care.....bought some books from amzon.com..cheaper than what i see at the bookstores, some discount going on...check it out...cheers for the New Year!!!

If for normal pvc pipes, go to a hardware store, get the orange/white can Japanese brand ,No.70.a few dollars, use the plumber white tape if u face vibration, and seal with the glue in a dry conditon 1st...
