Not a problem with 5 ft and 4 feet side by side. That way can share sump, chiller.. Etc.. Else u need 2 x equipment.. I know someone with a lot more tanks at home. Haha.. Hope it works well for ya.

Bro, I think your stand supports not so ideal.. Refer here.. http://www.garf.org/stand.html The horizontal pieces supposed to "wrap" the verticals.. From your construction, seems like the horizontals doesn't provide supports to vertical wood.. Especially the bottom, where the verticals are resting on the horizontals. Tank can get quite heavy with water.. Take note..

Why not run the two tanks in parallel.. wait for the 2nd tank to cycle. Stabilize before transferring? Also sps needs a balanced parameters.. I think if tank too new.. it might not be advised.. Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
