First of all... the laminates.. if you really look close up.. its really DIY quality.. cannot compare to contractor standard.. Qn: how did you laminate the sides of all the plywood? I measure the strip required, cut it out.. then put some "GP" (yellow) both on the laminate and plywood, DO NOT stick immediately.. wait for glue to dry a little as they are contact glue.. the and apply force to stick.. btw applying glue to large surface is easier if you use a small strip of laminate as an applicator.... Confused???? Concerned???? Clarification???? heheheh :> hope this vide helps... http://www.refacedepot.com/esupport/kb290.htm Qn: They are only 3/4 inch thick ply right? Yup. I use a normal art n craft penknife.. make sure get thin laminates... Qn: Do you have the cutting tools? No power tools used for laminating process.. just some pure brute cutting with penknife.. (although a wood work plane should be helpful) will pm you the info required.

after 1 night... I think I'm gonna stop the leak test.. since my "overflow detector" and dry floors tells me that everythings ok.. But will carry on monitoring.. cos afraid that the pressure from Eheim 1262 return might cos some leak....

tighten the pipings..

also.. God on my side... notice how close the overflow wall is to the piping... any closer and I would not be able to screw in the sockets.. phew... so fellas:.. take this into consideration for your future tank to have enough allowance....

Can i just clean the tank once with wet cloth (need vinegar)??? 3. what should i do the the tank of water after leak test?.. only got 2 pots of plants.. maybe can reuse for toilet.. hmmm... Still filling...

must say the delivery from China is very helpful.. even stay about 30 mins to help plumb the overflow pipes... eventually.. I treat him to a 1.25l 100-plus... another shot...

Meanwhile, gotten this Safety RCD Adaptor for added protection against electrical mishaps... Supposed to cut off power supply if earth current fault detected. It will shut off within 40 milliseconds -> fast enough to prevent fetal electrical shock (sounds like a free perm..)

Still no tank.. tank maker can't deliver today.... raining heavily.. sianz... better be safe than sorry....

Yup.. will definitely get a pair of those.. Thanks Burnerj

smells like a huge project... lotsa penning down of ideas.... The opening of the hood to allow access to your tank; you might wanna check the clearance between your ceiling and the hood's opening. Also, even if the hood's are open, whether the lights are in the way. For me, as i normally hand-feed my corals, I'll prefer easy access to tank. just my 2 cents....

Looking at ways to hang my T5.. need some reccomendation.. Idea is to satisgy the following:- 1. "Cool" Factor.. as tank is in living room. looking at something that does NOT look "industrial" look. (ie aluminium structures) 2. As my tank is probably around my waist level.. looking at an idea where i can raise or lower the t5 fixture. any ideas?
