Any bros know where can i get a new H&S Skimmer pump / purchase the impeller? Appreciate it.

unfortunately, the new impeller's shaft was NOT removable unlike the old impellers.. thus, i had no choice but to break the new pump's impellers ceramic shaft. i also replaced the ceramic shaft for the new impeller from the old one... Wish Aquabee could've sold only the "skimmer-type" impeller... anyways.. the job is done and the skimmer runs fine now... maybe I'll operate on the old pump just to find out what causes the intermittent operation...

Then i swapped the impeller from the old pump to the new one.

The new impeller was trickier.. after trying all means to remove the impeller.. i gave up.. instead i heat up a pair of screw driver and melt the impeller so that i can remove it.

first. i removed the impeller from the older pump... this is easily done by removing the catch on the top. the impeller will slip out nicely...

finally decided to operate on the pump to swap the impeller....

Thanks bro... still learning alot from the corals... Yes, I'll like to use the new pump.. but somehow the old pump's impeller does work with the new pump. The new pump's impeller are the normal ones. That's y i need to have the old impeller swapped to the new one. any advise?

need help.. basically my skimmer pump - AquaBee 2000 - has some problem. it operates intermittently... because of this, i bought a new Aquabee 2000 to replace the pump... thing is ... if i swap out the new pump's impeller with the old pump's impeller... the pump doesn't run.... strange. from my knowledge of motors.. it runs on a N-S coil... could the impeller have different polarity?.... any advise...

the 50% water changes really helped in the algae bloom... now the LR are all cleaned up... also the algae on the walls of the tank had disappeared... what a welcome sign as i had anticipated that the tank will be infested with algae after coming back from my 3-day jakarta trip .. HOORAY

... to get back on our feet....
