  1. smell fishy. maybe the distributor can clarify on this.
  2. salinity will go up but just a little as 600ml is just about 1.2% of ur 14gal tank. just buy a small container thats able to hide away and get a good topup together with pump. maybe u want to add trace element addictives to freshwater top up to replenish trace elements lost thru skimming, chemical filtration or coral/fish uptake. Grotech carries a product thats for that purpose. happy reefing!
  3. did a search on it on google. so its their harpoon, sting, that pierce its prey a large enough one can kill a human and their venom are non addictive pain reliever comparable to morphine check this out, its very interesting. and u might want to know how it look like more before gearing up ur dive suits. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cone_snail
  4. what the.... i wonder how the snail have such speed and strength holding the fish. poor fish, look at its eyes~
  5. ur coralline algae like blooming flower
  6. hiz! you need to give your fish some time to adjust to that kind of seaweed. My fishes initially didn't like it as well but after a few days, they are crazy over it.
  7. i would love too. but the amount load im bearing now only will get them killed. but i know, i will sure to be into it somewhere in the future soon.
  8. so tempting to go into SPS. Jervis: All your fault!
  9. sorry to hear that beelim but always always always try to QT ur LS.
  10. hiz 3366! chong pang is very near yishun mrt station but still u need to take a bus from there. its just a few stops. it is not a shopping mall. its just a HDB area but with shops at the void deck. hope this helps for a loving father.
  11. hiz there Bubber! I got some questions here: whats ur salinity? best to use a refractometer rather than those swing arm type. did u top up water and measure ur salinity everyday? the tank's salinity must be very consistence in order to efficiently wide the dreaded ick off. from my experience, some white spot still will survive above 1.009 SG or >12ppt. i felt its best to leave the tank at 12ppt for 2 months and with some nuking of medication for the 1st week or 2. hope this helps
  12. sorry to bring up this topic again as i just saw it. but I felt something must be said about this. if I am new to AM and after reading these posts, I would think twice before buying something from them and especially setting a tank. i felt it’s rather unfair for them, as I know they had always been very customer orientated ever since they first started. I’m sure a lot of people knew about it. And I would like to share my experience. I had never bought anything expensive or ask them to set a tank but when talking about their after sale service, I remember once I told them there’s something wrong with my skimmer and T5s, they immediately asked me to send it over for service at no extra charge even they knew i didnt buy those from them. their service always impressed me, so i think there might be some misunderstandings between the 2 parties. Please NOTE that I’m not siding anyone here. I just like to share my point of view as its rather unfair to just hear one sided story.
  13. jervis: NOoOoO!!!! why?!!!! you spend alot of effort on it man! to buyer: and please be prepared for the seahorse, not for beginners and their food is a major problem.
  14. hey, i thought u just started? why gave it up so soon? upgrading? anyway up for a sincere dealer
  15. arh~~~~ wats the problem man. its kindda weird for people to bother doing that. its rather unstable for 1 to do that. jervis, did u dump someone recently?
  16. oh dear, hows the rest of the fishes? sad to hear that man. like what jervis said, dun give up man!
  17. woooo did u get another one?
