tts sick i most likely will puke the food out if i see it's still swimming but some chinese are no better. i once see a couple of videos of live fishes get steamed leaving its head out. this way, the head of the fish is still alive and breathing while on the customer's dish! so much to prove freshness.

very common problem for swing type hydrometer. i personally felt a lab grade floating glass tube hydrometer is far better than the swing types. but the down side is it can be hard to read from it. but invest on a refractormeter, very very good accuracy

welcome to src! i suspect ur PO4 is on the high side as well which in turn contribute to the algae growth. either u do more water change to bring N03 and PO4 down at the same time. or get some PO4 removal products together with a fluidized reactor.

hi! tube worms don't need lightings. however, plankton, which is one of their diet, needs a fair amount of light to subtain. unless you are dosing plankton then its alrite. and tube worms needs rather strong moderate flow to thrive. so if theres quite some flow in it, you can leave it there. but if i'm you, i will go through the trouble and reposition it. happy reefing!

your most welcome! you can thank me by trying all ur means to get the fish eating. i used to just feed normally, the response i got from my regal is just swim pass the food or go hiding. but after i target feed at its spot, she (i think its a she) took her own sweet time to have a bite on it. since then it never look back. do try it, it will get ur hands rather wet but its worth it. hope your's will behave the same as mine.

it could be but i felt the crab must be big enough. i use to think 1.5" teddy bear crabs are cute few years ago, when i first started this hobby, until i saw him biting/tearing the flesh off a poor damsel thats still alive! i quickly catch the crab out and it then release the damsel away. the damsel did swim around breathing hard but it didnt make it that night because it's wound is too big. sad to see him die in such a painful way. my bad!
