rosyscales are agressive. it being said and experienced by me twice as well. if want to get, get small ones for rosy. and they are hardy.

i use flexi pvc hose for all my pump connection to hard pipes for noise reduction from vibration then only thing different i did was i used cable tie instead of those metal cramp. perhaps that will solve ur problem. if you die die want to get spare parts for ehiem, look into C328. both of them carries quite abit of ehiem spare parts. all the best.
