  1. just kidding bro was just trying to disturb you. thank you thank you many many. i have got both. i mixed them together into a single bag though. you can try that too.
  2. bacteria infection. should be of gram-negative bacterium. caused by bad water quality or too much left overfood or too high a bioload. dip in antibiotic like befuran will help. and yes, FW will remove flukes but remember to try to match the FW parameter with ur tank's.
  3. my resin was like what peter posted. it was not filled to the max. but i cant remember the case when i just got it though.
  4. yo Emm, your nick/name actually brings bad memories to me regarding someone close to me. Ca: you have, Kent's + Cr Mg: you have, Lab grade brandless KH: you have, Seachem + Kent's pH: Good to have, Seachem Iodine: Better to have, Kent's + Tropic Marin Strontium: Good to have, Kent's Vitamins: very good to have, Human daily supplement (cant remember brand) for tank. Amino: very good to have, Zeovit. Trace Element: Two Little Fish, good to have but I seldom dose. Those bolded will be of more importance. AND TESTKITS!!! No testkit you dont know how much to dose. For Coral: Coral Food: Kent's chromaplex plankton Concentrate, zooplankton. Zeovit's Coral Vitaliser. Those above are for water. For fish, Amino: Zeovit Amino for fish, Selcon by American Pinpoint, Tropic Marin. Vitamin: Kent Zoe. Garlic: Seachems. actually its subjective. Some tanks don't need anything and still do well as most of the time the owner do frequent w/c and depending on stocking as well as filtration efficiency. for a large skimmer, carbon used and ozone used, some of the things especially Iodine will be depleted faster than the rest. can talk to me more on it. you know where to find me. and i dun have your number, only akinass's. pass me your contacts and add me in msn lost_law@hotmail.com. ask wenjie to add me as well.
  5. you can do that by buy bulk resin together with refillable cartrigde. but you must know where to find it. heres one link. http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/store/10-clear-refillable-cartridge-for-di-resin.html
  6. anytime, just let me know when you are coming to get. chris, share share with me too la
  7. yes, your coraline died. not enough light or ur water parameters are off.
  8. i thought his immunity was already removed? i remember reading it somewhere.
  9. you are welcome. on some occasions, the standard will be printed on the pipes. but i came across many of those without standard printed on it for DIN/local/china/USA standard. so i suggest cutting a part out to bring to shop to varify. it could be checked easily when they should be experience enough. and on a personal opinion. the pipes used should be the commonly used local standard because i dont see a point why your initial tank maker wants to use a more expensive imported standard pipe unless being emphasized by you. and do remember to buy yourself a glue pipe cutter, PVC glue and white teflon tape for the pipe work. all these can be found at the pipes shop.
  10. yes, most likely, interpol can nab him now. i believe, upon being nabbed, he should be sent back to Romania and see if Romania wants to send him back here or not.
  11. yeah, like what Peter Tee mentioned. the sponge is a good idea, very much like weipro's style. you can find these sponges at C328. i remembered coming across different sizes but that was some time back. think you can find what you need at RD and those shops at kitchenery road. but those shops can be annoying because they normally operate in office hours.
  12. it really depands on Romania now. If its worth protecting a suspect to upset a country relationship with other. Personally, any reasonable government will rather give up a man than to upset another country when the evidences were already considered rather solid. but still, it really depends on the integrity of the Romania's words now. they might be saying this but doing another. and its good to see atleast some actions were taken.
  13. i forsee salt spray if you use 90d elbow which the output is above the water level. if the output is below water level, there will be back pressure issue. and the pipe standard used by deltec should be of DIN standard.
  14. do what peter tee suggested, if still can't. its propably due to the new cartridge or your TDS meter. can try calibrating it again.
  15. wish to modify my pipings: a) what this bro has done: http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=6434&st=0&p=74209&hl=plumbing&fromsearch=1&#entry74209 that is to reduce the 90 degrees elbow from my tank. i dun get what you mean here, if you meant by decreasing ur pipe size, then get a reducer. b ) add a manifold to use my return pump to drive my uv light and denitrator (both slow flow rate). you need t-joings and a nozzle for this. if dun have the nozzle(hose tail), you can try to reduce your pipe size with a reducer till a flexible hose fits it.for the denitrator, simply drill a hole at your pump output a small hole(5mm) and glue a 5mm hard air line tubing. the 5mm hard tube fits nicely with the denitrator flexible hose intake on most standard denitrator. c) put my return pump (eheim 1262) outside the sump tank. you will either need male/female socket with silicon glue or spend more to get tank connector. you propably need a ball valve and union joints Reefdepot sells all of the above, depending on available stock. but they normally sell those of DN (euro) standard pipes which doesnt fits to local standard. but i will advice you to try hai cheong. or king george road/kitchenery road, there have many pipe shops there. but i believe hai cheong will be a safe bet.
  16. things to take note. make sure you know your standard of ur existing pipe size. different standards of, say, 25mm pipe sizes are different from each other.
  17. yes, its most likely sponge like what terry suggested. its good to have by giving you a slight boost on polishing the water.
  18. sad to say, its hard to treat. unless you QT your fish. and effective medication are normally controlled in singapore. unless you know where to get the source. even if you get the source, its only helps in the early stages. metronidazole and praziquantel are good for kicking parasite out from the fish. furan, kanamycin, ampicilin. kana and amp to be added into food for effective removal of internal bacterial. all the best. if you got some left over penicilin, maybe you can soak part of the pills into food and offer them as well.
  19. aye, its okay. no hurry. thank you many many. let me know if you need something back again to start up the propagation.
  20. no wonder ur pics so blue. believe u like blue mood more. nice though. im using aqua blue special actinic aqua blue plus aquablue special aqua blue plus pro color aqua blue special aqua blue plus actinic aqua blue special
  21. http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=83364&st=440&p=882165&#entry882165 post #455 Dragon eye Ahlee, what happened? i hope its all good on ur side. need any thing to restock. let me know.
  22. very unlikely that your fishes died because of NO3 unless ur NO3 is sky high. though eating well and not gaining weight is due to internal infection/bacteria. normally for them, the shit/poo is stringy white. so take note of that.
  23. thats must be a rather big decision for you kenny. up for your fat fishes.
  24. see/google brook aka clownfish disease. see if the dorsal fin is down, i presumed its most likely down from that kind of situation. if its down, act fast or else u will be going to lose it. in the meantime, trap the bullies or the percula. all the best.
  25. guess that something to learn from you if theres a chance. nice work.
