i face the same problem with underflow like yours but i solved it. btw, underflow is very useful. most small fish would like to go there. you will continue to face this problem with small fish in the future. get overflow comb and glue it there. next time you can come to my house and take a look at it.

if no fish die during cycling, then its not cycling already. dun take it too hard. things will get better. better, i think you have those underflow and overflow right? the fishes go by underflow right? if so, i have got a way to solve it. i used to have that problem too. perhaps a picture will help me see for you.

not exactly when your equipment used are not energy efficient. if your equipment are of low wattage then it will not contribute much to them temperature. but however, if your equipment uses high elec, then it will be higher then ur air temperature. the type of light u used will contribute significantly to your temperautre. think it this way, all your equipment used on wattage are conbimed into a heater for your aquarium. then of course ur water temperature will be of higher than ur air. china made products are known to be not energy efficient. especially on their high wattage circulation pump. and welcome to have your first post here. do ask more questions in this forum to help urself with ur aquarium.

no i didnt. ur BK pump should have 2 nozzles. 1 for normal air and one for ozone. so just hook it up with the ozone nozzle. dun really need orp controller if you are pumping at low doze though. but still good to have. i never see my orp controller on/off, so the key is doze low. get some barlettes too. it will be nice
