  1. some zoa are like that. if you bought it new, then most likely our lighting condition makes its color changed. if its from reefer, try to ask what lights the reefer use. water condition, amount of lighting intensity will contribute to the different in colors as well. if you are a zoa keeper, iodine is good for their colors.
  2. pardon me if im wrong. are those skunk shrimp, they look close to 1
  3. i kept rooster before. the rooster together with the hen are beautiful. those special kind for view and not for eat. but very noisey fella, every 3-4am at there CoooO Kuuuu Kuuu CooooO. that fella's body clock is screw up.
  4. transparent, i never seen it before for such a size. if you dun mind grey and the size of a straw. RD sells it for about $3 for a meter. and perhaps going down to C328 will be able to find something handy. they have got long rigid plastic tube for siphoning sandbed/dirt etc.
  5. Other than checking what others suggested. check Ca and Po4. i experienced LPS deteched when Ca is too low or PO4 too high. and it might be due to infection as well. all the best.
  6. individual preference. i just normally leave it down there. and dose iodine. while molting and without enough iodine, they can die.
  7. from what i heard from tank maker with no solid proof. clear silicon is tougher. black silicon looks nicer (individual preference) clear silicon (after exposed to saltwater for long and then dried out without saltwater, can be peeled out easily.)

  13. hey Larry, yeah, i take close up with marco. as i find cropping would be rather tedious so yes, taking focus in things extremely close is very very fun. you will see many things beyond with what you can see now on the corals. having a marco lens is greatly recommended by me. and a marco lens like 60mm makes good potrait lens. many people use marco for portrait. choi! anyway just kidding only la. never had these intentions. *cough* *cough* thats rather mean for your new job so its better be better paying. ok i will! im interested in cambodia too, you got pic to share share too? is it still dangerous down there at the "temple ang ko ang ko?
