Hi Keithtanbb, Near where you refering to? I stay at bedok reservoir. Most of my DIY stuffs get from the hardware shop near my place. I really enjoy shopping at those diy hardware shops at shopping centres, which bore my wife to death.... Ha ha ha..

1. Buy those plywood with 1 side already laminated in white colour one. The white faces inside. Waterproof. 2. Buy L-shape elbows to hold the plywood together. I used a total of 8 elbows. 4 below, 4 on top. Use stainless steel screws. 3. Refer to 1. above. 4. Use wood glue only if you've made dovetail joints to piece the wood together. Using wood glue alone is definitely no-no. Cheers!

Actually it was to be one of Suntec's source of advertising income too. The TVs in the tank are to be used for airing commercials.

Was there 5 days ago, in the late morning time. Saw a guy cleaning the tank. Went up to chat with him. Turns out that this guy has just taken over the maintenance of the tank, and that day was his 1st day at the job. Told me that the tank was not set up by his company. And he quite certainly do not agree with some of the setup. But nonethless, he has to work around what he deems are constraints, and to fully understand the setup. But one question keep popping up in my head. I asked him, but couldn't get an enlightening answer. The question: Why would the company that set up the tank not continue to maintain the tank? BTW, the tank is not set up by Harlequine, as speculated in this forum before. The maintenance guy told me the company that set up the tank.

Back problems come once in a while lah.. About once every 3-4 months. Usually after prolonged periods of standing. Pain goes off after 2-3 days..

Try this simple exercise to remove some of the irritating lower back aches. Works for me. 1. Lie on back, knees together and slightly bent. 2. There should naturally be a small gap between the small of your back and the floor. 3. Inhale. And as you do so, try to "push" the small of your back to be completely in contact with the floor. ie. touch the floor with the small of your back. 4. Hold it there for 10 seconds. 5. Do 5 reps. Should clear our lower back aches within a few days. Everytime you feel the ache again, just do the above.

Currently using the O2 Xphone... Have to warn you that it thinks more like a PC than a phone. Meaning that navigation on the phone is really like navigating in a PC. The usual user-friendliness you'd find in a Nokia / Sony Ericsson will not be found in this supossedly "smart" phone. But I love the look of the phone....

4'x8' plywood inclusive of cutting at $21 is very cheap. I remember paying extra $10 for the cutting fee. But my ply needed many cuts. Plan your cuts propoerly. When I got my wood cut, i drew out the exact cuts on a piece of paper 4 inches by 8 inches, and all the cut lines on the paper, to the exact dimensions, scaled down. This saves a lot of brain work on the person cutting the wood, and may even save on an extra piece of wood. Bloody town council, I left some leftover wood propped on the corridor, and was removed without asking me first becoz the MP was coming for a walkabout... But I know it's my fault anyway as they're a fire hazard.... At least should let me know first mah...

Supremo, I stay at Bedok Reservoir. I pm you my contact. If you need to come over, give me a call first. Saturday anytime, weekdays after 8pm.. What i did for the stickers is that i used a small pc of wood to scrape the sitckers along the whole area to ensure no bubbles and tight adhesiveness.

I'm toying with the idea of using 2 similar power heads to do the job. I'll need 2 big toyogo tubs. 1 empty, 1 with premixed salt water sitting next to the sump. 1 of the PH will be to pump the old water from the 1st or 2nd compartment of the sump into the empty tub. The other PH to pump new water into the last compartment of the sump. Although there may be slight difference in the flowrate of the 2 PHs, it should not pose a big problem as it only need to finish a tub of water. You guys think it'll work?
