  1. Tmr around 7pm is good. I'll be sending you my address and contact thru pm soon. Thanks for the fast response.
  2. I'm trading this rock of Sun corals for the 6-pack. Bought this rock 3 weeks ago at Pinnacle. Fed only thrice since. I'm finding myself too lazy to target feed. So anyone more diligent than me please come and do the trade at my tank at Bedok Reservoir. I'm available weeknights from 7pm. Please collect before Wednesday nite 11pm. Else you gotta wait till next Tuesday as I'm going away for a short trip. For transparency, please indicate your interest in this thread. No sms or calls.
  3. Just add a hyphenation will do.. 'Nudibranch-eating yellow wrasse' Saw a good number of them at Ah Beng yesterday. Seems like always in stock there.
  4. The Lemon Law was passed to protect consumers for instances like this. Do speak with the tank maker for a resolution.
  5. I would continue the dose accordingly for complete eradication. 0.5mg should be 0.5ml. Just get the total volume of water and then multiply by 0.5ml for the dosage required. Do remember to empty and wash the QT tank dosed with copper after the course of treatment. Some people will QT the fish for a day or 2 with copper, but I won't do it. Observe the fish in the QT, only if required, then diagnose and administer appropriate treatment. You can actually start buy new fish now already for QT. Yes you can add shrimps and snails into the DT. Ich parasites will not host on them. Cheers.
  6. It's good that you have isolated the affected fish in the QT. It's even better to hear that there are no other fish in your display tank. Now, to be absolutely sure of ridding the ich parasite in your DT, leave it fishless for 4 weeks minimum. This is to break the life cycle of the parasites. Cupramin is the most effective cure for ich, when dosing rules are followed religiously. A good preventive measure would be to QT all incoming fish for 4 weeks moving forward. And remember not to add any water from the lfs that comes with the bag of corals or fish that you buy.. Good luck.
  7. On a brighter note, I'm happy to see my chilli pepper monti regaining its colour. I guess it's a combination of decent lights (6x24W T5) and better water conditions. This is mainly because of the frequent water changes while tying to export the velvet pathogens, AND that I have not needed to feed at all, as there are no fishes! Haha. Only lightly dosed some planktons and coral food every few days. As a result, latest NO3 readings are zero.
  8. Yup they are lives. It's just that with no swimming movements, it just feels so lifeless. The 2 shrimps' movements are so limited. Anyway I'm also thinking hard for my fish list. But for sure I'll be looking out for Helfrichs, a pair if possible, for the first inhabitants in.
  9. The battle with velvet has not even subsided. Today I just found new enemies - the dreaded zoas eating nudibranch! Damned! What's wrong with this tank? Actually found 2 of these crawling on my tank wall a few wwwks ago. Plucked them out with tweezers and thought nothing about them, as i didn't recognise them as pest. Just an hour ago I found a few of the zoas frags on the zoas garden rock not opening. On closer inspection, found a few of these blardee slugs clinging on to the zoas.. They really are a master of disguise! They can take on the colour of the zoas they're eating into! ! I was really fuming mad! I'm prepared to take half a day off tomorrow to deal with these buggers. It looks like this pic off the internet. I was researching in the last 30 mins, and I'm deciding to use Salifert flatworm exit for remote dipping (double strength) the zoas garden rock in. Will then dose directly into the tank to rid those hiding elsewhere. Hopefully it gets the velvet buggers too. A 2nd dose will follow a week later to rid the newly hatched pests. A 3rd dose in another week if required.
  10. Some updates on the QT. It's now sitting atop the cabinet I didn't really feel like selling.. I like it too much lol. There's no new fish yet though. No doubt I'm feeling discouraged, and not as confident as before. The velvet outbreak is really a humbling experience. Actually the survival list has gotten very short - only the firefish is left. Picking up carcasses every other day brought a new heartbreak each time. R.I.P. all my angels.. My very lifeless empty tank.
  11. Bro this is NAC 3+. NAC 3.5 is the cone shape one.
  12. Lol.. Congrats on your graduation.. Upss for your sale.
  13. Sorry to hear about this bro. Hope the house is cleaned up nicely by now. It's such a big pity to have a leak in such a beautiful and big tank. Try to identify the leak. If it's due to loose plumbing or misaligned o-rings, it is a breeze to fix. If it's due to jointing silicon, I believe many of the tank makers can help. But to isolate the cause may require you to fill another 800 litres of water.. it's a big pain and a drain (pun) of good $$. Lol.. But this time get ready an output pump with hose running the drain or lots if containers, and lots of towel.. Best to have a tank maker around while doing this as they are the experts. Good luck bro. I was looking forward to a tank setup of this dimensions as my dream tank would be something like this. Sincerely hoping you succeed bro.
  14. In total I spent $310 on all the parts sans the aluminium bars. I had leftover endcaps, single core wires and electrical cables & 3 pin plugs I could recycle.
  15. Still available. Sms / whatsapp me to discuss.
