  1. Haha. No lah. This ones I bought last year for my 6-footer. But I decided to decomm the FOWLR tank soon after buying these, and therefore left unused.
  2. Thanks. Ok, OT enough le. Light still available. Ready to be collected anytime.
  3. I have 2 of this. Both unopened. $26 each. Take both at $48. SMS 945525zero9. Weeknights at Bedok reservoir.
  4. Thanks. If I've pasted it on a heatsink via thermal plaster, will this plaster dissipate heat or will it insulate heat?
  5. Thanks. Now tank still new. Revisit after another 12 months see whether still can keep it this clean and tidy or not. Haha.
  6. Why don't get a brand new Eheim 1250 for that price and fit it in the ios (no extra protruding pipes ~ visually more appealing). Then take your time to sell off the 1260.
  7. Thanks bro. But I won't know if this will be the first and last time I'm soldering LEDs. Lol.
  8. Woah.. Just found out how expensive the double taps are!! Buying 2 of these can more more than pay for a 2nd hand Eheim pump. Lol.
  9. This dimension thing is eating me too. 1. Distance from TOP to BOTTOM. This is the easy one. HEIGHT. 2. Distance from LEFT to RIGHT. Most aquarists call this the LENGTH. But in technical terms, it really should be the WIDTH. Because looking at the tank from the front, it really is how wide from left to right! 3. Distance from FRONT to BACK. Most aquarists call this the BREADTH / WIDTH. But in technical terms, it really should be the DEPTH, because it is how far you have to reach to get to the back. It is also the 3rd dimension. Most technical/construction guys will call it depth too. I don't mean to rock the boat. This is just getting it out of my system. For years aquarists have been calling it by L x B x H. So we'll keep it this way. Cheers.
  10. Thanks. Ya, a trip to Henry's has been long overdue. Next week bro.
  11. Those green air tubes valves. No? Ya, I was also thinking, got enough water pressure to push out the mysis meh?
  12. Haha bro.. I read the post 5 times, yet I still can't say I truly comprehend. Use air tube, plastic flow valve, big syringe? All these I have. Mind doing a demo when we meet up? Thanks.
  13. Wah bro, Macham reading the index page of a book titled "Equipment marine aquarists use".. Haha..
  14. Woah.. Enlightenment time!! Thanks for the idea!! Erm, but care to share more how u control the rate of drip for the mysis?
  15. Bro you have a soldering kit? Or can show me how to solder led chips?
  16. This power 400 LED set has insufficient power. Anyway my ATS will be driven by a new 5x3w DIY led set.
  17. Nah.. I doubt I can grow algae on this set.. Thanks anyway..
  18. Feeding sun corals. Made a small operational mistake by epoxying the colony at a steep angle. It makes training feeding really difficult. Have to cut a bottle at an awkward angle to isolate the feeding. Did target feeding for 3 seperate times over the last 6 days. They still do not respond to the opening time I want. Haiz... Feeding them mysis.
  19. Bought 3 tubes from Madpetz to maximize savings. I won't be needing so much. Will be selling 2 tubes at $9 each. I'm rounding it up by 10ct for ease of transaction. Collection at Bedok Reservoir (behind Telok Kurau Pri Sch) on weeknights. Otherwise can SMS me to make arrangements. 945525zero9. Thanks.
  20. Any (F)ull (T)ank (S)hots? Yeah I agree with others. You need to reduce the amount of livestock in your tank soon. Cheers.
  21. Ohh I always thought that tank threads should just continue from day 1 to present day, as long as the glass tank remain the same. Well then I'll take a look at your other tank thread then..
  22. Is it normal for fan worms to cut their protective tube from above? I planted 4 of them into the sandbed 3 weeks ago. As far as I tried, I could only get abt 2" of their tubes into the sand. About 2" were showing above the sand bed. Every few days, I do notice a bit of their tubes (around 1-cm lengths) lying on the sand. As of today, they are barely 1 cm above the sand. Picture shows only 2 of them sun tanning. Actually I like them this short. But I just needed to quell my curious thought below:- Are their tubes shed by themselves, or chewed off by livestock? I currently only have a skunk cleaner shrimp, and 3 little fishes in the tank. Oh, not forgetting 1 bristle worm I still can't catch, and maybe some normal rock-boring worms. And perhaps got hitch hiker pest I've not been able to spot bah..
