Guess what bro, I just did a 50% water change this week. I lost 3 SPS frags just like that. Amazing right? SPSes are funny creatures with a big emphasis and ego on water stability. Sometimes we might be doing the right thing for them, ie feeding them coral food etc but in return they spat at our faces. So what to do? Suck it up, frag your colonies and stay happy. There are so many unforeseen in this hobby. As much as this hobby is teaching us patience, diligience, passion and imparting us knowledge on Nature, we cannot ignore the fundamentals of cherishing our life, laughing at obstacles and believing in oneself (: Keep up the good work you have been doing so far yikai! cheer up bro. like bro cedric said, in SPS world, anything can happen. cheer up and dont be over-upset. anyway white tips can mean anything. could be due to lack of light or maybe your fishes peck at it? and stn/rtn happens all year around. In the ocean, it also occurs for some sps. I guess it's the survival of the fittest. We try to provide the best we can and the rest we leave it to our corals' will bah (: Cheer up and good luck! (:

I have three of these in my tank too. Very cute. Initially also thought it's apitasia until I saw the REAL apitasia growing in my tank then I realised "oops, wrong-id!" haha I think they do well with low lights

Everyone is friendly and willing to help you provided you help yourself first by listening to some of their advice About being hokkien, no worries. I am half-hokkien and half hainanese myself. Brought up in a neighbourhood simple chinese family. I speak dialects etc but that's not the point. The point is you definitely help us understand you better when you put a full stop behind your sentences and a comma if you want to continue talking about a certain topic in a sentence. Without these two punctuation marks, you will kill us seriously trying to understand what you are trying to say. Speaking bad english is fine with me. But speaking bad english with no full-stops or commas is a sure no-no for me. Hope this helps

hi bro mushman, it's not about the total wattage. In the game of T5s, you got to look at wattage of individual bulb. It's wiser to go for 24w bulb. The intensity is higher and allows you to keep the sps.
