  1. Many have done this and some left crying. It's another sort of carbon dosing effect. Not sure of the direct effects or how the whole mechanism works. Thread carefully. Having said that, zoas do grow well in regular vitamin c dosing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I agree with the age of tank and type of rocks used. If your tank is young it's kind of expected that coralline not set in and when I mean young I meant maybe a month or two and less. Another thing about coralline is the kind of lights used. I noticed that it's not as easy to grow coralline with LEDs than it is with T5. Somehow there is something amiss (I do not know if it's the uv or red or orange led that causes coralline bloom). Having said that I find 6500k t5 tubes and coral plus by ATI giving coralline a good run. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  4. Ya but please dose only one drop. Yup it's that little. No need alot Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. how much water change do you do? If wc is once a week, I'll suggest dosing like once every two weeks. Iodine can be replenished in water changes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Guess his karma was a leaking pipe that forced him to decom. He got really chio girlfriends which is why he's into animals now I heard haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. You might want to be careful about using the overflow pipe as a leAning board. PVC and glass normally don't make good friends with silicon. Chances of leaking from bottom either through PVC (normally PVC first one to give away) quite high. Got an ex reefer gotten a similar tank like that. Rocks didn't lean on the pipe but it still leaked. Some may know him. His nick is acidjazz. Suggest you try to recreate that part. Cheers mate Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Don't dose iodine everyday. It's an element that will sink and not get skimmed out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. His pics look/are photoshopped. You can try downloading his pics and an app to adjust the contrast. You'll see the difference. plus points about his tank are that he managed to keep his tank with lower end T5 tubes ie. Osram and Philips and with a smaller skimmer. Anyway don't trust pics online these days. A lot of time it goes through a lot of hands to achieve a certain wow factor. Especially Taiwanese threads. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Waiting for you come back. Remember I said 4-6 months though you said 2 years was the gap for your last one Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. hahahaha ya Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Or you can find branching rocks to act as hoisting support and anchor. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Oh yah your rock structure look wobbly. Might be cause of the way the sand lies on the rocks to make it look unstable. If there's nth to anchor the rocks down, might consider doing so. In such cases, PVC pipes does the trick (: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Boss you need more rocks but definitely need some scaping skills. The look from front looks flat. IMHO, I think you can try replicating chingchai's or reefaholic's style of scape. Once corals go in they will break the shape. Current scape limits the number of sps you can place. Just my two cents Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
