I also don't know. Appeals to the eyes maybe? Anyway I do notice that people generally play Blue+ as main bulbs now. AB special seems too warm for liking. Also, with the emergence of coral plus, it seems there's a lesser need for AB special for that warm spectrum. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

The technology about drilling hole in roof to utilize sunlight is done by this company in US. http://www.solatube.com Can look into it. Personally I don't know whether sunlight by reflection is good enough to use for keeping reef. But there's another thought that need consideration is how to weather proof the reef from rain which is temperamental in ph. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Tried bro. He didn't bother replying. I searched online. I believe you can find Philip blue, bit it's not readily available. Usually must order and got minimum amount. If you want to know the Osram one, let me know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You put a lower temp is to generally provide higher oxygenation level in captive environment for your animals. Also a lower temp gives you some buffer against cases of power failures. Actually 29 is considered high by standards since not a few years ago it was only 27/28. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

General Philips tube. Tried searching online before. Closest I come toward is 21w for 2ft. There's 39w though. Check under Philips website. I'm using the Osram one. Not much savings imo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
