OMG! I just read their guide to pico aquarium. Totally unethical! Either they didn't cite the source of their pictures nor they give credits to those whose tanks are featured! 2 big jokes I found inside that post were: their temperature - it is in Farenheits instead of Celsius! (since when our MOE teaches us Farenheit?! lol they actually recommend us to buy heaters for picos! - omg what do they want? ikan billis? Tsk. Pocketocean, you sunk too deep already. We are not prideful, unethical people of a silly reef forum. We may not justify or represent ourselves as ambassadors of Mother Nature. But we express strong sentiments and idealogies for this hobby by making sure that proper transfer of knowledge is established and strong ethinical practices are uphold within this hobby. This is what this forum is about (:

I think no need me already. Someone here has whacked them the first blow. HAHA Anyway, really funny reading their replies to customers. hahaha Gouldian why not you someday pay them a visit? Pretend to be an ignorant customer then before leaving, hand them a MASS brochure and tell them you are the founder of the society. I can imagine their shocked blatant faces.

I really feel like going to their chat box and flame them. WHAHAHAHA

I think when money comes into the equation of a hobby, the hobby is no hobby. It's called business. That's why in business, you do away with ethics, culture, societal views and perceptions. As a businessman/woman, your equation is always X - Y = Z, given X is your earnings from the business, Y is your supply costs and Z is of course, your profit! So a bigger X with a smaller Y ie higher turnover rate of how many Dymax IQ3 you sell a week will assure you a fatter Z. So will anyone doing business care about Mother Nature etc? To me, very unlikely. if there's a likelihood they will, those idiots in China will not add protein chemicals into baby milk powder and similarly, alot of big nations will sign that Kyoto Protocol, and reduce greenhouse gases being released into the atmosphere, or stopping overfishing of blue tunas, preventing the polar ice caps from melting, saving many many of other wildlife and creations of Mother Nature. This really sucks Period.

IMO, I dont think you need this reactor to do what is offered. Carbon is better to be placed in a meshbag than a reactor and GFO can always be done with a simple FR; be it Phosban from TLF or Skimz or Reef Maniacs. All work equally well and perfect HTH. JMO Happy Reefing, Marc J.

Anyway this is for Jack. The goblin fire zoa which I threw away in the dustbin didn't die when I returned to office the next morning. I put back to tank and it survived. Currently, doing well. Thanks Jack for the wonderful frag. Shows how well your frags are doing in your tank. THANKS AGAIN! and I believe I owe you my sincerest apology! SORRY BRO for causing some trouble that night. Peace

hahaha, fast sia you! I didnt realise the pics are out until I surfed SRC on my iphone while returning home from school lol Thanks for posting bro! and how's the reef octopus skimmer doing? hahahaha thanks bro! I also eyed some of yours too liao! hehe Scaping, okay lah, so-so. Not as fantastic as yours leh No secret sister desi to keep rics. Just plenty of light and good flow. Let them stablise and they will flourish. Anyway most of my rics are grown from single mouth. Now most of them have 2-3 mouths and had subsequently split. Thanks bro. ehh bro, which one are you referring to? If you referring to the orange mat in front of the tank, that's bambam orange. It's gotten from bro. Reefzzz. Grown from 3-4 polyps to current state. Anyway, I also have mandarin orange zoa which is also another yellow orange zoa growing behind of some zoas. this one needs some professional camera to capture which I currently don't possess

PLEASE DO! We are willing-parties of your ultimate bombardment!

Agree! Anyway I have also tried EHEIM freshwater carbon. In my experience, it's a relatively expensive freshwater carbon but the overall effect is good! (: no regrets! You can get the 1L packaging from Clementi 328 or Polyart. Just bargain one buck below retail and you should be good. Anyway, it needs hot water activation. So yup (:
