  1. Very nice diy Ryan. Any chance of seeing it?
  2. Share leh, what fish did terry and digiman buy?
  3. Hey bro, I remember you! Haha I've some dead rocks to sell. Let me know if you're keen.
  4. Wow! Pruttyyy! Just curious, what's the brand of the FR? It looks solid
  5. Sorry for your loss. But from my exp, doubt it can be the superglue.. what brand is it?
  6. Can show how you hold the stand up?
  7. Main pump hooked for 3 uses is a great idea but for insurance policy I'll hook my chiller with another pump, just in case the main basket breaks, I lose all my eggs. Just my 2 cents (:
  8. Ooo what's the size of frag tank?
  9. Possible. Corals breathe too yea?
  10. How about air stone skimmer? Someone is selling a Berlin airlift. Well can try that?
  11. Bro it doesn't matter whether the cloves are closed or opened. If water is good it will open. But now you've shed some light tt your foxface has been sighted nibbling on it, chances are high it made a meal out of your cloves >< Anyway all soft corals spread fast and well when conditions are right. Xenia and cloves alike, except from my experience it's not easy to handle Bali Xenia. Personally prefer Fiji Xenia more..
  12. Bro what's your po4 reading? And we're your live rocks cured? Any mishap in tank? Anyway sole reliance on ats is debatable. I think it cannot fulfill the full function of a skimmer. I'll still suggest hooking the skimmer back up and run both together..
  13. I'll go with what slapper said. Water conditions not pristine enough to keep the cloves. Nothing to do with acclimatisation and corals need little acclimatisation. At most to me if the temp concurs, it should survive. So if corals can't survive means smth wrong with the water.
  14. Nice job! But one question; have you insulated or dOne up a cover for your power points? They look exposed And if not done, a trip by your tank can kill everything in your house. Mum surely not happy if the food in fridge goes bad
  15. Hi bro, may you PM me your cabinet maker and the cost of it? Thanks
  16. Depends on what you want to keep. Sps will need it to create random flow.
  17. How bad is the humming or rattling sound? If its just a hum it's normal. Deltec has been finding ways to silence that to no avail. Still has some humming sound. But if it's rattling, might be a case of shorten or broken impeller. It will be worth to tear it down and check
  18. Yes they do sell to individuals. They offer food grade or lab grade. Difference between the 2 grades are purity level. Lab grade more pure than others but might have other chemicals you don't want (can't tell what they have unless you request them to give you the components list. Otherwise food grade is a safer go. Performance wise I feel it's the same. And for these companies they do have minimum order. If you do not meet the cut then they won't sell. And one more thing is they work 5 days a week and they are located very remotely. Like merchem is in tuas, joo Koon there so might not be so convenient for guys in the east.
  19. Otherwise you can look for international science or merchem. They do sell in bulk. But one bulk is easily 25kg. Provided you have people to co-share otherwise it's not advisable to do so. Lying chemicals around home can be dangerous for kids..
  20. My condolences. Anyway my 2 cents on coral feeding is that it's quite unnecessary. In fact, feeding them with lugols and fish pellets are enough to get them fat and healthy (: Maybe this might help to avert a future disaster?
