  2. Boss, you left out the growth hormones pills in the recipes. Haha. But basically this method is good if you have a really big skimmer and very strong lights. These Italians are dumping 400W mh on their tanks and big German skimmers. RC has a thread on them. Good read but users' discretion advised. (: Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4
  3. Take average? Feedback to RD alr? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4
  4. What rocks you using? Live or dead rocks? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4
  5. Tank treated with copper needs alot of carbon treatment to effectively remove them. Then again no guarantee because silicon is known to trap copper Best solution buy a new tank Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4
  6. Oh!! Lol ps. I hope you can get them keke. Last one I know of is from digiman. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4

  10. And make sure each Thor gets fed. Try sinking big pellet food. I fed them with discus food previously because of the higher protein content making the pellet stink in water. Alternatively mussel bits are good for them. But tough buying NZ mussels in the quantity of one. So yea.. Go try. Quite fun to watch them feed. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4
  11. Watch out for Thor. Known to munch on zoa skirtings if they are not fed. Try to feed them once a week. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4
  12. Oh I see. So let's hope sales pick back up soon. Do miss some of the fishes at CF
  13. Or can try CF. Except no idea why lately CF is very quiet. Might be planning for a bombshell shipment. Ah Beng is good for hunting common shrimps
  14. Is your tank mixed reef? Carbon is necessary for mixed reef. Especially when you got precious softies and precioussss spses. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  15. Hahaha don't stress lah. Just a hobby. No tangible liabilities but alot of intangible benefits. Oh your fish count is better than mine. Guess I should buck my list up haha.. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  16. Last time I used my zoas as carbon indicator. When their stalks get long, time for carbon change. When carbon is sufficient/not exhausted, I find them matted to the rocks. Maybe you can try something like that. Pick a coral and slowly observe it for a month after adding carbon. See if there is any changes. If there isn't you might be using enough carbon or your skimmer is overdriving. Haha Nice to know your chaeto is working. (: Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  17. Like previous bros have suggested, recommendation from me is carbon to be changed once a month. I try to go by the guideline for carbon change at 1g of carbon per 1L of water. You can try to begin with 0.5-0.8g per litre of water and slowly move up if necessary but do not exceed the guideline unless your tank has some serious issues. Aggressive carbon shocks corals with abrupt water clarity. This leads to bleaching and death. GFO I go by feeling. There are no credible test kit in the market that measures phosphate. So I do keep a log of how much GFO is used per time and this is measured against how fast my algae ie. Hair algae and glass algae grow. If I notice I am getting to clean my glass more, time for GFO change. I still measure my po4 levels for fun but nothing can beat yours and my eyes (: Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  18. ^ +1. Same here. (: Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  19. Nope. Fine by me. Just doing some expectation management here after lunch. Cheers. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  20. P.S: dont try comparing it to other models. It will end up apple vs orange. But apple a day keeps the doctor away. Ups for you TS. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  21. I think the point here is its an investment into a good skimmer with reliable customer support from RD. Comparing with the brothers of its same series, you'll find yourself saving decently from this purchase this bro is offering. 所谓一分钱一分货 Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  22. TS, Care to share how old are your lights? Second hand? Tubes bought from where? Direct from Iwarna? Reflectors old or new? Some pictures will do justice. Interested to acquire. Thank you.
  23. I chiong cf lck and pasir ris over one day. Abt 3 hrs in total. So 6 hours is doable. But I don't do it every weekend. Depends on weather and schedule and contents of shipment.
  24. Same problem. My sps pale out because of low feeding regime to fishes. How many fishes are you holding now? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  25. Ohhhh I think I know where to get them. Hehehe..
