  6. hi, I have just prune my main colony last week and have about 20 polyps for sale. Most of the polyps are loose (not attached to rocks etc) so you need to glue them to a piece of rock. They are all opening nicely in my sump. I'm pricing them at about $1 per polyp. BTW any one have an ID on this zoo? Collection at SengKang Rivervale Cres. Can also meet at Compass Point MRT.
  7. BTW I stay at 157C rivervale cres. For those considering if its too far for you.
  8. hi, I have excess cheato for sale. You will probably get some brittle stars for free. This time I will have this system: PM me an estimated time/day that you will come to collect. I will then PM you my address. I will hang the cheato on my door for you to self collect. Your are welcome to put a token under my door to help me sustain the hobby though If you have, I'm looking for stripe mushroom frags or nassarius snails. I should have enough for 5/6 tubs. The cheato would probably have baby brittle stars only too.
  9. Maybe you want to lower the sump water level (or raise the skimmer up) so that the riser tube is the above water line. I assume that at least the top 50% of the body is filled with bubbles?
  10. Maybe can consider the tunze one sold by reefdepot also?
  11. Not sure about flow rate. I think its about 10-20 l/hr max according toMarine Depot website (3.5G/hr) I run it over total 3m of tubing 1.5FT head max flow rate is about <4ml/sec ~ 14l/hr
  12. The aqualifter is like a air pump. There are two opening, one in and one out (the red end of the pump). The input is connected to the prefilter (the black thing in the packaging) with a flow control valve. The pre-filter is just a small plastic box with some wool. The output is connected to the CR. When you turn it on it will suck air out until water get sucks in and then out to the other end. Think of it as a cheap dosing pump. Advantage: Low Power Quite quiet. Just got a bit of vibration. Much more quiet than air pumps. Can run dry no problem (good for autotop up system). Can push water quite high (good for autotop up system). Less messy than using T-off valves and trying to balance the flow. Disadvantage: Not very strong especially if you use the pre-filter and air bubble get suck in through the tubing joint. I solved it by submersing the entire prefilter into water. Initially I use a T-off to start the feeding. BTW I am using an AquaMedic CR1000. Other application of this pump includes to suck out air from overflow boxes and auto top up (esp of Kalk). Its really good for auto top up you just need to send one tube into your topup container.

  14. I got it from PetMart. It is use to feed my calcium reactor now. The catch is they don't sell it by itself. It comes with this plastic arch. You are suppose to put the two end of the arch into your tank, the aqualifter will suck air out and fill it up with water and fishes can swim through it like a tunnel. Got it for about $20 as a set.
  15. I just got one from HK. Have not activated it yet so cannot comment.
  16. hi, I'm putting the smaller half of my sea cucumber for sale @ $10 The tiger tail sea cucumber stays on the sand bed and does not climb walls hence will not get cutted up by pumps. Very hardworking sand bed cleaner. It's about 6 inch long. Collect @ SengKang Rivervale Cres. PM me if interested.
