i would estimate that the light has been used less than 100 hours. total 4 switchs 1st switch control left 150w mh bulb 2nd switch control right 150w mh bulb 3rd switch control 2x18w pl actinic tubes 4th swith control 2x18w pl actinic tubes i do not know the colour temp of the mh bulbs(between 6.5-10k, i think), as they came original from the box. this unit has no timer. can buy external timer quite cheaply thesedays mah...

betweem the 2 mh bulbs is about 8-9inches. my tank also has a center brace. i didn't even realise that it would be a problem..ha

for 3-2.5 ft tank use if u use the light stand. but if u choose to hang from the wall, this light is suitable forn 4-5 ft use too.
