Well, if I ever managed to obtain a oversized chiller that can keep my water temp at 22 C, maybe I will consider but as for now.... I give those a miss.. I think Sunburst will look good.... maybe a group of them ... a pair of neon gobies would be nice too.. add some yashias for colouring and I think I gonna have a pretty interestin reef layout..

Your FR is currently being manufactured. If everything turns out well, you should have one running in your reef within a week. For the Add-ons, let's see how the reponse to this thread turns out.

There must be a mistake here... the smaller sized reactors that i'm currently designing are Calcium Reactors, not fluidised reactors.. I'm not considering building any FRs with diameter less than 4 inches. But if you need a smaller footprint for the FR, let me know. I will customise one to fit your reef.

superb reefing skills?? where did you get that from. I'm simply a young reefer compared to many others out there with really long years reefing jus doing my very best trying to get things to work out.. And as I do not have much experience with gobies.. definitely would need advice from those who have been playing with them for some time.... Heheh... and maybe a shopping trip to the LFS with our very own Flubby sis, guaranteed to get LS at rock bottom pricing.

Yes, would very much like to but guess jus have to wait till I get settled down... been running to and fro between my current residential and new location leaving me really little time . Still have a backlog of skimmers,CRs and FRs to build ...

You like to give me some suggestions?? Maybe help me with a list of gobies that would be suitable for a square bottomed reef...

I'm actually considering 2 x Sunburst Anthias for my reef since I'm running a Beckett Skimmer .... and yes... a yellow headed jawfish and some Yashia white rays might be interesting additions too...

Jus a note.... the product review by AT is actually the Reef Maniacs Fluidised Reactor Professional series... which have a 5 inch diameter for main chamber. The current ones utilised by a number of reefers here are the standard units having a smaller diameter of 4 inches. These do not come with the add on chambers. As I'm currently developing my new range of Calcium Reactors for the smaller reefs out there, so would only consider getting the hang-ons for the standard series into production if there is enough interest for them. So stay tune ....

Hi Guys, Jus did some rockscaping to my setup.... One issue though... since my reefs rather small this time round, so am still pondering on the species of fishes to place in it.... Any suggestions?? Hope to work on specimens that won't grow larger than 3 inches.

Or go for a shorter reef..

I got some of my tanks made there. I think they are fine. Not the best workmanship around but hey, for that kind of pricing, I find them reasonable. In fact, I have made a number of tanks/sumps through them and even my current new setup is made by them.

So who's gonna be the next beckett victim? Hehe... better get mine built too...

I'm think in of sticking to a bare bottom concept too... A reefer did suggest using a acrylic plate coating it with silicon and a layer of sand as base.. Reckon that's the only way if my plan for a 6080 for my 2 footer reef is to be carried out...

Great to hear that conditions have improved. So are we gonna be expectin some full fledge SPS pics anytime soon?
