I might drop the 2 by 2 footprint for a 2.5 by 2.5 coupled with a 1.5 foot height to give myself more aquascaping space..... The idea is to keep to the running of one 250W MH bulb for my new reef..... Most probably sticking to frags and smaller colonies......

Would definitely be interested in a lower power consumption skimmer.... if it produces the same results as with the Beckett....

ARM seems to get pretty good reviews in RC... Heard that theydissolve at a higher of 7 compared to other form of media... which needs a lower pH..... Thinking of getting the 50 lbs packet...

There should be min die offs in transit time is short..... Your cycling time should be short too.....

Thinking of getting a MX 70 to run it... shoule be able to drive at least 3 becketts with that.... only issue is to look for the beckett nozzles now....

Hi Guys, Due to intention to downgrade... I shoudl have excess liverocks for sale..... roughly more than 100 kgs.... pricing would be at $8 per kg.... would consider lower price is larger quanity is obtained....

Thats a good question..... But I think getting the beads seems to be a bigger problem....

the end product is suppose to be sulphuric acid..... Thats why they are good for Calcium reactors.... And since I'm DIYing a Calcium reactor for my reef, might as well explore the possibilities of using Sulphur .....

the theory is that the end product of the sulphur denitrator, sulphuric acid being able to assist in the dissolving of the Calcium media thereby releasing calcium and carbonates into the reef.... No CO2 supply required ... and my new reef would most probably not be having a DSB... since I have a 1.5 feet reef height in mind.....
