Hi Guys, I have more than 150 kg of liverocks.... Intend to sell 100 kg leaving 50 for my new reef... As the new owner would need to collect the tank from me by mid Feb... would need to sell the rocks off asap.... would be selling them off at $ 5 per kg and preferred quantity per sales to be min 10 kg..... Collection at Bedok... Pls PM me to for more details .......

The E 27/26 seems to refers to the single ended bulb.... The outer envelope glass casing does provide some UV reduction.... The DE bulb version dosen't....... Spend some time readin previous threads.... I think there were a few incidents of corals going downhill due to their DE bulbs not being shielded..... And I would recommend that you get the actual facts right first before proceeding..... don't need to risk your livestock.....

For those who are interested…. Do you have the following…..?? 1) Reef that’s been running for at least a year preferably…. 2) Strong lightings….eg MHs .. 3) Strong water circulation 4) Stable water parameters.. 5) Better than average equipment…. 6) Ability to maintain the necessary parameters for the upkeep of SPS eg Calcium and dKH levels… If you answer ”no” to even one of the above mentioned…. Suggest you do a search on this site for more details or spend some time in checking out the various threads on the SPS section….

Erhhh.... 20kk bulbs will definitely be dimmer and with a lower PAR... Thats how the bulbs like.... Never seen or heard of a blue bulb that registers bright and with high PAR..... Those getting such bulbs should know better... I think its better if comparison be made between the various blue bulbs rather than compare them with a lower rating temperature bulb.. eg ... comparing the 20kk Coralvue with a Radiums or Ushio Blue...

Hi Guys, As above... PM me or SMS me for details....
-
Hmmm..... maybe you can start selling DIYed liverocks... You certainly have the space for that.....
-
Dr Evil, I'm looking for someone who could build a frame for a 3 by 3 footer footprint tank..... would be great if I can get some quotes......
-
FW water normally have pH in the range of 6-7 ... thats the kind of pH that could dissolve CaCO3 right.... (someone pls verify) Calcium Carbonate would have difficulty dissovling in higher pH... and you might like to check on the product again..... there are items from "certain places" which have instructions or labels that are weird simply because of poor understanding of the English language....
-
Accident??? Recommend that you spend some time reading up and preparing your reef before you make another attempt..... Too many accidents ain't a good thing........
-
A thread from RC that I find particularly helpful in clearing some doubts... http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.p...&threadid=60515

hmmm..... excellent... Those DIYed rocks of your look neat.... I wouldn't be able to recognise it as manufactured stuff if they are properly cured and coralline algae covered..... Like to list out a procedure list to help reefers here???
-
Well, someone's 8 footer reef would be a really cool place to start off with.....
