As above.. To swap for a lower flow rate wavemaker. Prefer brands such as Koralia or lower power Taam Seio unit(P530)
Wavemaker is still running. Can view before swap.
Selling my school of fat healthy chromis to reduce bioload.
Bought them @$1.5o each from SL . Selling all for $5 or trade with 1 yellow wrasse
Will eat all kinds of food thrown in..
Collection in Pasir ris.
Use DI water, maintain good & stable water parameters, dose iodine regularly and also ensure you have appropriate lighting level.
Doing/have all the above.. But was thinking of doing more to improve my SPS coloration to reach those "wow" level..
Just curious, If I am to hook up 1 more tank( 10 gallons) to my overall tank set-up ( 180 gallons), will that help to reduce/improve on my overall fish bioload and my corals' colour will turn out nicer ?
Any one?
I have recently faced with the same problem.. Trust me.. The Red Algae is really stubborn.. Continue to keep your tank water qty good by routine water changes . I used Ultralife red slime and its working ok for me..
Using toothbrush to brush away is only a temporary measure. They will come back in few days.. Do take real action pretty soon before they attack and cover your zoas.. Then you will have a really really hard time to clear them away from your precious gems..
