Its gone case.. If you can see the whole worm out of the tube, its dead.. But if only the crown is dropped, new crown will grow again.

As far as i'm concerned, parrot fishes are cichids and they need hard water. hard water = High pH water. Adding coral chips will help to increase pH. please do not feed them when they are stressed, they will not eat.It will only worsen the water conditions. If you need more advice, i may be able to help with some of your doubts

Definitely no problem with corals, hard or soft... As for shrimps, just make sure your shrimp cant fit into its mouth.. I haev kept hong nose hwak with cleaner, boxer and fire shrimps.. No problem.
