There should only be 1 return pump from your sump. Isn't it? If yes, you shd have a valve to control the inflow from pump in sump into main tank. It will be better if you have another valve to control the outflow from tank via overflow into sump . Let me know if I have read it wrongly.

I am planning to sell the below plug and play lightset due to some changes in set-up. 2 x Lumenarc L3 Reflectors ( 14.5" x 14.5" x 6.5" (L x B x H).) 2x250W SE Reeflux bulbs ( fired ~6 hours every day) Ballasts included + 4 feet Aluminium stand. Yes. I did. But my tank is 4' x 3' x 2'. The upfront cost is high .. hmm...

So cheap.. Hmm.. Maybe I should really change to T5 and sell off my MH fixtures..

Just curious, how much is your electricity consumption for the 3 tanks in terms of $$ ? (If you can share) Considering to switch to T5 to reduce my bills.
