  1. yea they can move by themselves so must be careful as they may well move to other corals and land right beside them and extend their tentacles at the same time.( I think you get what I mean )
  2. If I am not wrong, yuma would prefer lower lights such as placed lower in a tank, as for colour temp. I don really know bout their preferrences(so maybe wait for others to reply) and they woudl prefer low to moderate water flow.

then this is really an easy feeding for suns as you don have to target feed them! haha just let the food float to them then.
  4. can I noe what are the original colours of your bubble? like, green, white or brown? mine is actually near the top of my tank under T5-HO lights. however I think it depends of the nature of their colourations, like for example, brown type prefer less light whereas white and green flourscent type prefers higher intensity lightings, like mine is a green flourscent bubble.
  5. did you happen to spot any eggs on your cleaners? could really be the babies of your cleaners!
  6. yea imagine some still thinks Singapore is selling at too high price for our marine hobby.( I think it is not only bout marine here)
  7. yes somehow in a tank, even the more then willing to school chromis will still spread through the tank and not exibit their schooling behaviour.(not to mention tangs) this is most likely because they must have felt that they are safe in the tank as it is small enough to see each other too and have not seen any predator. fishes school usually because they will be safer in larger groups then singly and not to mention getting more food like huting together. then again, in a tank not so many of us will provide a predator for your fishes just to get them to school(no offence to frogfish lovers) unless you are keeping predators of cos and has no choice but to put in their natural food.

this is really a nice piece.
  9. lol, where are these menus from?
  10. really I didn't realize this too much untill you mention...
  11. I think in the end it stills depends on ones understanding of the different uses of equipments which is to combine with the nature and husbandry of their inhabitants of the tank and the certain needs some require to judge if the equip are worth buying and not at if it is cheap or ex.
  12. ya henry stills has lots of them, small ones are $7 and big ones are $12 I got the big one.
  13. haha don't really know bout the probing part but mine seems to be doing that zapping thing even without doing anything to it.
  14. IMO, don't think having lots of equip will really substain a tank for you which means you have to do less. many things and elements are still found in the ocean which are sometimes not found in our home aquarium and these elements could be some key benefit to keeping of certain corals or fishes. however some somehow still thinks removing every single element especially toxics such as nitrate will sure to bring them success.
  15. haha interested in going too but dun really noe got time or not. anyway you found out the cost yet?
  16. lol, you try before? haha anyway the one in my photo is the electric flame scallop but just that the zapping not seen.
  17. ncie tank and nice inhabitants you got there. and you planning on upgrading tank? should too cos if you wait until 2007 quite long leh.
  18. nice tank, and can see that your anemone moved from bottom to middle. more pics!
  19. think this is not a slug instead a snail, one of the most unusual gastropods that makes you think it is a nudibranch/sea slug. you can do a search on Coriocella hibyae to get more infor. and by the way a nice tank set-up you got there.
  20. think anyhow just choose one also can.
  21. I am also using AVG so far no problem. anyway they got give you any error reports? cos this may help with the problem.
  22. guess you refering to the electric flame scallop?
  23. no problem but must buy a battery run air pump so that it can generate some oxygen for them during the electrical shut down.
  24. yupz they do that once they found a place they like and will use that thread to attach themselves.
