Greetings daimy068!!! - hmmm Qian Hu?? o.O clementi isit? HELLLO cjh - nice way to put it.. hahaha :D i dont run a skimmer, i use my other tank skimmer to skim overnight when i feel that bioload is building up (Redsea Prizm). I'll post a photo of my chilling device soon hello SaTaN - For $68 u can get a 2feet Internal Overflow tank, smaller tank would still cost the same presumming that they count the glass planels used. You also get a Pump, a bag of bioballs, a bag of ceramics, a bag of filterwool. And some simple plastic pipings for you to pipe your pump - which I didnt use, I prefer pvc for now a picture of.. Jedi Knights and Masters!! I'm the guy wearin the imperial officer uniform with a lightsaber!! :D

Hi Lester Sharkeeper! How r uuuu? I'm acutally intending to keep inverts. and maybe pipefishes - leaving my options open now Alittle correction - I added my liferock 1 week into cycling. Making a choice - I was giving bioballs and ceremics free, but i decided not to use them. I replace them with liverock in the area below the filterwool DIY - I diy-ed a 9w PL, on top of the return pump section making it my refug. for now oo look.. time to change the wool!

First thing I did was to paste black sticker to cover the overflow area for a professional look. Next I added the Hardware, salt, water and let it run! Hardware Backstage: 12(h) x 12(w) x 6(l) Internal Overflow: Filter wool > Live rocks > Pump: Atman 103 (1000l/h) Exibit Area: 12(h) x 12(w) x 12(l) Lighting: PL 11w x 2 (Philips daylight, dymax 50/50) Live rocks Sand (0 size with -1 on top)

is invertebrates more hardy then fishes/corals?
hobbes replied to angmoh's topic in General Reefkeeping_
Heres my verdict, for starters 1) a Skunk Shrimp aka known as Cheaner shrimp. (Est. $14) A must have for a new marine reefer! Has alot of character, hardworking, easy going, friendly, and if kept long enuff it would swim up to your hand and eat from ur hand. 2) a eletric leg blue hermit crab. (Est. $8) Cool colour, hardworking - cleansup left overs, reef safe, and friendly! 3) another skunk shrimp, if 1 is good, 2 is better! Try to pair them up.. 4) Blenny, sandshifter-type Make sure they are reef safe, they will stir your sandbed making sure that it is clean Tho this is not an invert. its really one of the "must have" for a new reefer! Generally super-friendly, full of character and cool. 5)snails Hardworking, easy going and reef safe. They are quite die hard too. I wouldnt suggest coral banded shrimp as they get aggressive with tankmates. Dont worry about snails falling off and the hermit come eating them - this only happens if you didnt feed your tank for... hmm 10years? Happy reefing!! CHeerS! -
I need a fan for my 1ft cube: can anyone help me make 1? and prob. with a nice holder to point the fan 45degrees down thanks alot. cheers!
