What u mean by poor water quality? Izzit too much chlorine? I always treat my water b4 adding it in... My other cardinal died this morning... I aldy tested my water b4 adding fishes in... What gives? Sigh... What are frozen mysis? are they brine shrimp? Is it ok I i feed them brine shrimp?

What do u mean by acclimate? Is it putting the fish in a seperate tank? Or letting the fish get used to the temp before letting it into the tank? I put the fish in after leaving it in the bag for abt 20mins and every 10 mins I poured my tank water into the bag...

do u have enuf LR for him to hide? How much LR is enuf? Mine is a 2ft tank....wf abt 10kg of LR... did u acclimate b4 u intro him in? Didn't acclimate...could it have been sick aldy? is the one u bought has a slim body?(prolly has been w/o food for few days in a tank) How to tell if it's got a slim body? Didn't really notice... where u buy ur fish? bought frm coralfarm @ LCK My tank is not really mature...it's only abt 2 mths old...maybe it might have starved to death but I just got it yesterday...so fast hungry liao? Anyway, sidetrack a bit...the other fishes in my tank dun really seem to wanna eat...I've got a fire goby that hides all day long and a zebra cardinal that doesn't wanna eat. I'm feeding them dried pallets, the ones wf garlic...also my zebra's fins are shedding....it's like something's biting it away....is it sick? It's got a trail of poo too....abt 1cm long...

Just bought my mandarin yesterday and this morning I found that it has died... So sad.... What happened? Can someone tell me? I tested my water before putting it in and everything was fine... My other 2 fishes are also still alive... one is a fire goby and the other a zebra cardinal... Could the zebra have atttacked it??

I suspect that my fish has white spots How do I confirm that it is indeed the dreaded disease? And how do I combat it? See my poor fish suffering very heart-pain....

Hi fellow reefers... I've got a problem and it's due to my tank water evaporating really quick in a day. I've got a 2ft x 1.5ft tank. I've attached a profantec fan blowing directly into the surface of the water to reduce the temp of my tank. But due to this fan, my water evaporates really fast! It's abt an inch per day! Is there a way to reduce this rapid evaporation besides having to top-up water everyday? Anyone else is facing this similar problem? Pls advise...thanks

Hi guys...I'm trying to start a marine fish tank... Currently I've already set up the tank and it's cycling now... I've got a 2-3 inch sea bed which consists of grade #0 below and grade #1 above. I've got a dolphin cannister filter which consists of 3 layers and a weipro 2011 skimmer. I've been running my tank for abt 2 weeks now.... What shall I do next? Add in Live rocks? How would I know if my tank has been cycled? (I aldy added a prawn in) My tank is 2ft x 1.5ft... The salt level is ok...checked it... Am I missing out on anything? Pardon me for my ignorance.... Thank you guys for helping me out.... Also, my weipro skimmer is using a 1500 powerhead. Is it too powerful? Cos I can't seem to control the water level of the skimmer....does it have to below the line of the skimmer? Is there anyplace where I can get cheap live rocks? What's the recommended amount for a 2ft tank? Lastly, what sort of lighting should I use if I want to set up a FWLR tank? Thank u so very much gurus....your hellp is greatly appreciated.
