I personally prefer a direct flow without any flow control device or check valves; furthermore I understand such devices also create back pressure which is not so good for the pump in the long run. I’ve already started using my new Ehiem 1264 since last Sunday hence; the Aquabee 7000 has been dry up pack in its box just like how I collected it from the shop on the 24 Dec 2010. To buyers condition of pump is 10/10 brand new, 4 days old now and selling at $400. I’m willing to provide free delivery if you are staying near my working place or home do feel free to call me for further information. Thanks

My discharge outlet is connected to a Wavysea which I set at a rotation angel of 320, this rotation angle gives me an excellent water distribution hence, I do not want change the set angle. When using the Aquabee 7000 the high flow rate causes splashing effect when the flow hit my tank corners due to the rotation angle. That was why I had indicated the sale is due to the high flow rate which affects my tank design. It is very difficult to explain, if you are keen to understand more do feel free to drop by my place for a coffee on one of the Sundays and you will understand. If sale is not successful only than will I consider using it directly into my main tank. I do not have a sand bed so no worries about the sand flying all over but than huh ugly la having such a big pump inside the main tank,guess I will have to figure out how I can hide it behind my life rock Thanks for your advice Jizzhut and happy reefing Good Night

Good return pump for reefers who are keeping SPS and like high flow rate. If not sold soon might consider using it has a wave maker in my main tank I wonder if any reefer has done this before?

Pump sold to Mr Yeo, on 24 Dec 2010. I had upgraded to Aquabee 7000 however, my tank discharge pipe design is not suitable for the strong high flow hence, decide to purchase another new Ehiem 1264 and sell away this 2 days old Aquabee 7000.
