hi bro if u want u can try using AZ NO3. I'm having a DSB system initial phase of my tank operation i had NO3 of 40ppm after using 2 bottle of AZ NO3 & doing 10% of water change when first started to use the product now NO3 measure 0-2ppm I don't use the AZ NO3 on daily bassies anymore However when i perform 10% of water change every 2 months once & i use 2 cap of AZ NO3 So far so good NO3 in control Use row phos to control PO4 my tank measure 0ppm Feed moderately Last but not least best of luck Cheers

i f i'm not wrong 650w is the cooling capacity not power I'm not sure on the actual spec of the chillers but i think the Running amp for 650 is around 2.4-2.6(A) and the arctica is 2.6(A) if the HP of the chiller is the same the higher the running amp of the chiller the more the power it takes the more u pay. hope the above logic helps

yo bro use timer no need to use a timer lah use a teco tw6 it help u save money & the performance is super for a 4ft tank set at 25deg c or 26deg c can already was using a resun 650 in the past try arctica 1/4hp also but finally found the best TECO cheers

i've compare arctica 1/4hp & teco tw6 i find teco is better. it bring doen 2 deg c in 1h 10min when metal head light is on it take 1.5h. If u are keen in buying a new teco TW 6 i got lobang for good price pm me

Longer The better best is start to stock up after 6 monhts if you can wait if not 1 month is should be enough just ensure that yr no2 & nh4 is 0 before u start to stock up.

It took 1.5hour for 1/4 hp aritica to bring down 1deg c of temp for my 700l tank with total heat load of 480watts but for teco tw6 it took only 1h 20 min for the chiller to bring down 2 deg c Costwise i think both are around the same price & of good qua lity. i'm still trying to monitor the results will appricate if any of you guys who have try & monitor other chiller time taken to bring down 1deg c will input more information
