Here is part of my story and im sorry for the late reply as i was busy lately. I feel pretty sad to see such remarks made for a new products that are brought into the market. If it had been used and tested and it is found that it is not a good product, than i have nothing to say that it was a bad move and investment to bring such tubes in. As a commercial guy and also a hobbist, i brought in this Aqua Science tubes as there are a great demand for good and reliable T5 tubes. Having doing this will make reefers more choice of T5 products to choose from. If ATI is still available in the market, why must i take the risk to bring it a new brand of tubes when the demand of ATI tubes is so great? Why arent there supply of ATI tubes in the US or EU market? Why reefers do bulk order in the end no show? Ever ask the question why? Having to choose this T5 tubes from Aqua Science is that they are made from Narva Germany. The company that produces the best T5 tubes in the market right now. For those that have been reefing long enough, you will know where the good tubes are made from and what im saying. The chart that was recently publish was actually a Lab test done in Germany to show the 2 different graph comparing 2 different tubes by my distributor. Now it is removed from my site as it is not much appreciated. For your future reference, you can use the manufacture chart instead so that it will not have much speculation. Indeed there are alot of T5 tubes to choose from so the choice is up to you. You will only be able to see the difference if you try them. For those that have tried different brand of tubes, you will know that the quality, color and spectrum play a major role in reef keeping. For those that have bought the new Aqua Science Special tubes from me, you are the first few to experience the quality of the tubes. If you never try, you will never know the results. For those that wishes to do a comparison of this new tubes, please let me know. im open to do any test necessary not to prove that the tubes are good but to open up so that all this will benefit the reefers. Results normally wont lie. You can opt in this tread to show that you are keen. Lets see some hands if you are keen. i have deleted some words from my forum as it seems rather hash on the comparison. was tired today and decided to know off early and have a simple dinner. went to a food court and ordered myself an unagi udon set meal...i simply luvs jap food. collect and paid the food and brought the food to my table. to my supprise, the unagi looks like a sliced soba with some sause. than i wonder, i ordered an unagi udon and why im not getting my unagi... when back to the stall n inform the staff that i was not given an unagi. maybe i thought it was their mistake but they insisted that i was given an unagi. im a jap food lover and how can mistaken between a soba and an unagi. battle lost and when back with the unagi replica meal....feel so cheated and spoilt my mood for dinner...end up, left with an upset mind and an empty stomach. what a day...in the end, ta pau 2 prata instead...

are u sure that the 650 can cool ur tank size with 500watts MH? cause its very very under rated. Even a true 1/2hp chiller will need to work hard on a 5x2.5x2.5ft with 500watts of MH my 2 cents

U dont need to fork out so much cash for the initial start as you still need time to ensure your tank is mature for SPS. Basic equipment like tank, lightings, skimmer. etc.... Than u can follow by CR, wave makers etc when ur tank is ready U definately need 3 sets of 250watts atleast to have a good coverage. It depends on how hard core u are in Marine fish keeping.... some guys here have more than 1000watts of lights in their marine tank... u know who u are,,,

tigger, the fault may be the connectors (rx7). This had been discuss a few times on this forum regarding the Atman MH. Check your old bulb and see if there are carbon built up at both ends? and also the RX7 holder? This reduce the contact and that is the reason why it cant fire... my 2 cents

hi bro, your reservoir should not be higher than your sump unless u pump it up to your main tank....if not, it will siphon non stop even after the pump is off than, u will have a flooded house...

for 5ft and 6ft, i think a spread of 3 sets will be nice...... Like riot mention, u only have some blue hue on your tank to mimic the moonlight...nothing much to show.. Just some nice affect
