Hi Michael, The G1 controller are the same with the G2. Its able to control the white and blue led and set at different timing. Only difference is that the G1 doesnt come with moonlight. Cheers

Hi guys, I have a used ATI powermodel 4ft 6tubes up for bid. This is a used set traded in for another light set and from the look of it, it should be @ 2yrs old. The 6 T5 tubes are pretty new which is @ 1mth+ old which still have many life left. Brand new is @ 1.3k+ To sell it as it is. Light set had been tested and in working condition. Comes with hanging it. Set have a slight stray current which can be easy rectify (to earth the unit). What you need is the sliding track and hanging kit. Let me know how long the track that you need and what you be hanging?

it depends on what you are keeping....if LPS, you can use 3 x 150w MH. That would be sufficient for your tank. If you keeping SPS, than it advisable to use 3 x 250watts for your tank. 2 nos of MH may not be sufficient for your tank size! CHeers

Different brands have different spectrums and you cant just rely on what is stated but to read more to find out what colors they actually produce. BLV Germany 10k - white with slight tint of yellow 14k - Crisp white (no blue tint) 20k - White with slight blue tint If you compare like brand like Reeflux, their 12k is much bluer than BLV 20k. Even Phoenix Japan bulb are much bluer than BLV 20k so what you are getting is correct. If you want to get a bulb with a tint of blue from BLV, than you should go for BLV 20k instead of 14k. The BLV 14k still need blue supplemenet so that the color will not look bleach.. hope this explains....

when i started this hobby as a newbie, i cannot convince myself to buy a good german skimmer that cost afew hundred dollars and ending up with a weipro. But now i understand the value of a good equipment and i have even purchase a skimmer worth 5k so far. if u ask a senior reefer to choose between the RSM and a custom built tank, i will tell u that the answer will be clear which i think some of them have already explained. For spending less than $2k for a full custom setup, i personnally find its not expensive. Trust me you will be spending more money if you get the wrong setup. my 2 cents worth..... btw, i will be at iwarna this weekend. call me and i can explain to u further cheers

i can do a 3x2x2 braceless tank...with full system + FIP piping and cabinet at below 2k.... of course with crystal clear glass will be more expensive. Let me know ya....cheers

why dont u tape it? so u dont need to remove it? Most reefers are pleased with the moonlight and why do u want to remove it? Too bright for your liking or?
