unfortunately there is no G2 version for 60w....and base on what i sold, most of the pico is using the 110w..hahaha very little reefers using the 60w for their nano or pico tank....unless those 1ft cube type....but this 60w led is still good for 1.5ft cube tank.

Hi m12345y, i do agree with jacky that the hot air will still linger within the hood and that contribute the high temp to your unit..... u need to have an exhaust fan to blow out from the hood if you want it to remain close...... u can try opening the hood and check the temp after awhile as it definately be lower...

u still can do swop with more blue on the g1 model....just abit more work but can be done easily.

what about using a maxspect 60w LED....perfect size for your small tank

Bro, U know there is 2 screws that is holding the stand to the side cover....if u loosen it alittle, it will straighten the stand.....try out and it should work.... Cheers

If you are using 400 Single End bulb, than its ok.....as the bulb is UV coated. cheers

Let me help u.... 1) try swopping the bulb and check if the ballast is faulty? It maybe a faulty Bulb 2) Look at the connectors if there is carbon built up? If yes, try to scrape it off and try again U dont need to go back to distributor to replace the ballast......if u are technical incline, you can replace yourself....Just buy the replacement ballast and ignitor Let me know if u need help

actually Maxspect has an option if you want to change to cree.....but of course u need to pay more that is one good thing about this led set....u have the option to customise

i got o black housing 2tubes 39watts T5 HO fixture from DE Lightings that i used for less than 1 week. Run the MH @ 5-6hrs a day and T5 @ 7-8hrs a day. If the algae still persist, continue to cut down the MH timing. That will helps to controll the algae growth
