After a few days of brain storming.... i came up with a possible reason... Could it be that elegance are more sensitive to AZ NO3? It affected my octo at first but now its recovered. Maybe elegance have a low toleration for the enzymes...

I suggest u try looking ard to see the price available on the market. Recce the price first then decide. But it will be money well spent. And why not go str8 for a 4 ft tank in the future? My intention as well... Or else later 3ft... then 4ft... waste money la. Elegance is a good choice i believe. Have one in my tank, doing very well with weekly feeding. Moderate lighting and water movement also means that it is among some of the most accomodating species of LPS along with hammers and octos. Juz remember that they are more happy on the sandbed.

Recommended is T5s, some sort of cooling (Fans does the job well but take not of the high evaporation rate) and a sump or DSB. According to some people i know, they said a skimmer is not needed if yur juz keeping LPS. (Anyone has anything to say?) But juz get one to ensure water quality la.

I read somewhere that differnt types have different diets. The more common tiger cowie eats algae and the All white Egg cowie actually eats soft leather corals!!!! But mine looks funny leh... its a cowie, but the pattern on its shell is similar to that of a cone shell. Triangular markings and all... But dont worry i know hoe to differentiate. Catch it Grazing on sponges in my tank. Thought its juz haveing a small bite but end up clearing up the whole patch of the yellow encrusting sponge! Even teh resulting poo it produce is spongey...
