They have but only yellow juv specimens. No adults ones leh.
-
Wanted one too. But hardly see the adult morph ard leh... Any one can advise on where its sighted?
-
Bro good and simple tank. Lotsa room, Like the idea of mangrooves in yur sump. But one question, do u need very bright lights for them? Do u face a problem of increase in temperature then?
-
Abs are damn tough. But once u have them, maintanence is rather easy la. Needs lots of cardio... Body fat must be damn low. And i mean freaking low. Then high intensity high reps. The weighted crunches are rather effective but they tend to give u more 'compacted' smaller abs muscle... if u know what i mean. Danger to back as well. THose that looks nice are the bigger pieces of abs muscle... ermm... ya. Incline and decline works best. Can try.

I using the BLV 14k 150w. SO far am very pleased with the spec. Using a 10k b4 and i can say this new bulb is indeed much whiter. LPS doing fine so far. Light is abt 4" from the surface of the water.

Nice add on. Too bad me cant have that. No space under the cabinate liao!

I saw alot of them over the weekend at ah beng's. Healthy too about 2" Good size if u wanna start. But do note that the adult colors only comes out when the fish is at least 4"-5" ah.. -
Got this skimmer abt 1mth ago for my tank. http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=36630 Was using a macro b4 this upgrade and just when i thought its enuff... well lets say i was proven wrong la. Abt 2 - 3times the skimmate in 3 days from wat my macro have in a week. My LPS dominated Tank specs is 3 x 2 x 2 with a 2 x 2 x 1 sump. No fishes and yet it can still find stuff to skim out. Pretty impressed by it. And truely after looking at so many diff brands of becketts on the market, (Can one says Saturation? ) COmparing price, workmanship, efficency and the options for customing the equiptment, man what can i say! Wat works just works. Anyone else wanna share their experience with the equiptment?

Yeah true. The weighing scale is only so reliable to a certain extend. To me the best method is the total body fat test, and the dreaded standing ###### in front of a mirror (In private pls...) method. Thats the best test to see if u are really getting anywhere with the methods u r using. Coz ultimately... dont we all wanna look good with and without clothes?
-
haha i know wat u mean man... mouth non stop one. Not busy chatting then busy eating. HAHA!

I think me method is more relaxed la. Mon Wed Fri 10mins to warm up either on stationary bicycle or threadmil then 1.5-2hrs weight training session in the gym. Focusing on 2 major muscle grp plus abs session. (Chest n legs, Shoulders n back, then the last day for arms and to 'touch up') Started with Light weight (15reps) and move up to heavier weights(At least 8Reps). Abt 3 excercise per muscle grp and at least 4-5sets on a good day. 20x3 leg raise, 20x3 deline crunches. Then all the mat works. Tues Thurs Purely cardio. At least 40-50 mins of either running or cycling. Trying to do at least 8km per session. But now mostly do till abt 6.5km. Needs more training la. Weekends Free for all! Cycle to pasir ris see see. Kayak at east coast. Sometimes swimming. Walking along shopping strips in sg... Eat Eat and enjoy... Diet No sugar drinks. Damn tough as i have a rather soft spot for sweets... Have to really limit myself. No pastas. Fried stuff reduce. LOW Carbo high protein high fruits, veggy and tons of soups. (Skim the fat mind u...) Heavy break fast, Light lunch and dinner. 2 snacks in between, consist either of or a combination of milk/water/fruits/crackers/anythin else i can find. Important note. If u want to loose weight always keep in mind to use more then what u put in. Energy wise la. Exercise is the best way. Pills might be faster but exercise makes u look and feel good inside and outside. Dont go cold turkey on foods u like. Rather, cut down the freq to say.. once a week and cut the portions too la. (EG, BK BBQ bacon.... MMmmm Have the burger give the soft drinks and fries to yur girlfriend. So loving.... ) And u cant loose flab and pile on muscle mass at the same time. Focus on one goal at a time. REsults are more appearent. My experience!

Hi bros any updates on the east side? -
I'm a big fan of anime, esp those with magic, demons, ghost and other fantasy stuff. So far... i feel that Shaman king is great! But was kinda disappointed by the ending of teh cartoon shown on arts central leh... Heard the comics actually run further into the story (After HAO died and the shaman fight was postphoned.) Can anyone fill me in? The other one is 12th kingdom. Woah... man. Totally swept me mind away. The graphics are ok... but its the idea of the entire story that really attracts me. Summon monster... creartures etc etc.. Nv read any of the comics though. Coz most in chinese or jap la. Cant read. Anyone have anime along the lines of these? Can intro to me?

Can someone update the stocks in sentosa and reborn? -
Bro nice tank. May i ask whats the difference between a Hawaii Yellow Tang and the Philippines Yellow Tang ah?
-
-
Yeah i agree with the canister. But do get a big external one. Dont need much inside. Just 2-3 layers of foam and bioballs. Be prep to change the foam every 1-2weeks when it gets clogged. I think the adult brine shrimp feeds on mirco algae suspended in the water rather then those growing on glass, but hey i might be proven wrong. Get some of those snails will help big time. I get mine from the beach, but have to id them correctly. Dont want them to eat other stuff like yur corals.. sponges.. or fish! AFter the skimmer consider a protein skimmer. Those cheap airstone powered ones can be surprisingly effective in a small tank. Trust me bro.
-
Hi bro. Ocean werx have a range of skimmers and they can even custom one for yur needs. U can go down and take a look at what they have. Also they have experience in running big commercial tanks, so they might be able to work out something for yur 500L. Got my skimmer from them too. Works well and the price is definately competitive.

I find that the biggest illusion that we humans have is 'finding the purpose in life'. It mainly exists as an unproven theory to why we are put on earth. A species to fill in an evolutionary gap? If anyone had read the theory of evolution by charles darwin. We humans is a result of a genetic mutant strain that happened to have bigger brains, ability to learn fast, communicate effectively and have better social structure compared to animals. A good example is a new born baby. I once ask a friend if he thinks a baby will understand and bring logic to the things thats happening ard him. " They are animals. They are just responding to sounds and movements ard them. Its those ard him that teaches him wat he can do." This coming from a man with 2 grown up kids. He is not wrong of course. Come to think of it. What he said does have a ring of logic. Give a dog a bigger brain, a longer life and communication skills, Hey maybe they will take over the earth? We are suppose to be here to occupy a certain niche in the food chain. But somehow we ended up on top of it. An accident? Maybe.
