tunze but need to mod so that the water level is few cm from the rim. if not the original water level in the dt will be very low. the pipe I got those washing machine pipe from hardware store. sump customized from atlantic. few shops away from GO. cabinet is from fishy business. it was a headache to decide to change to marine or not when giving up crs shrimp cos I can't bear to drill hole on the ada tank.

some photos at the moments ... will share more of my progress. juz got myself the triple sensor auto water top up and hanna cal and kh checker . and i found out something interesting abt the hanna calcium checker . never ever use distill water i got from 7-elxxxx. the result keeps reading 600. i i wasted so many regents ! in the end i use my ro water and tested . it shows 443 and i use my dd cal test kit it show 450 too .

i got this product too. did some mod to the alarm ... so that it will not sound so loud . and the float switch sensor bracket too... highly recommended product.

manage to find out what causes the algae boom. my MP 10 flow was set to the lowest. after I set it to half bar, algae gone. I got the buffer but it was 8.3 then it drop to 8.0 to 8.1 again. try a few times still same Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2

bros out there, think i messed up my water parameter already . was driping the two bag of powders i got from iwarna. auntie say one is for mag one is for kh like kalkwassser. i just run rowa in phosban 150. the ph drop to 7.8. juz buffer with seachem reef to 8.1. and i was auto dosing c-bal since day one .5ml . tested my water with dd testkit. no3 0 po4 0 cal 800 (it took me to refill the regent twice 2ml and use 1.6ml to change from pink to blue. 1.6*500=800) mag 200 (using 1ml regent but the color still dark purple so i didnt continue. 0.1 * 2000 = 200) kh i try to test but it always blue then suddenly change to orange which means overdosed. what should i do now ? i have stop dripping the 2 powder solution, c-bal a and b yesterday, and i was thinking of doing a water change tonight with salt mix and let it stable for a month . my zoas and corals are stressed now .

thanks guys for the advice. I have got myself phosban 150 and rowa phos. now my oh drop from 8.3 to 7.9. my po4 has drop to 0.04 . . how can I raise my ph?

guys. I needed help badly. in running biopellet and just started a diy algae scrubber. I see some green algae forming. I also have chaeto in my sump. but my display tank wall keep having layers of green algae. after I scrub , it come back 1 or 2 hours again. now my sump tank microbubbles wall also have the green algae. my ammonia 0.nitrate 0 . po4 0.5. is the third week after setting up the tank. I'm using maspect razor 120 w. what's wrong? is my config of photo period too long. mind to share some config? even my sand bed and live rock have sign of green algae .
