hi brother,if you wnat to keep corals,you have to leave out triggers,boxfish and banner.they are all prone to bite at corals.IMO,usually coral beauty is a 50/50 chance.

shrimp can be fed on cut market prawns.4 acclimatising the shrimp,slowly add tank water to the bag the shrimp is in,this reduces osmotic shock.R u intending to keep corals?maybe should leave out the goby as i have try the blue cheek and all the sand it sifts always falls on my leather.Maybe , u could get the opinions of other reefers, i am a newbie, jus started a year and stiil doing homework.

no CR,no sump.water circulation is 2 powerheads(small).Skimmer is airstone powered.(maybe going to change to weipro 2011).KH is 6 dkh.test kit brand is aqua medi.Juwel tank so no dilled overflow.BTW, is there any nice tanks that do not have a sump.

my tank jus crash.i added baking powder instead of soda.(thought it could raise KH).after adding the corals were contracting,even my mushies.just restarted my tank. kept all my livestock in a spare tank. now,jus started to cycle tank. Dear fellow reefers, is there any problem.When i tried putting corals into the tank,my brain started to produce slime.is the Ph too low.

hi, i also have a 2.5 feet tank.i currently keeps tens fishes.(a bit overstocked).IMO, the number of fishes u keep is directly related to how well your tank filtration is.jus my 2cts.BTW, are you using a sump?

you could try adding lugol's solution aka iodine. soft corals sumtimes need this.
