i am currently using a wet & dry filter,the kind that is on top of the tank.my nitrates is 100mg/l,using a tetratest,very red.

As of above,is there any method to cure it.my tank is just 2 months .Should i get a better skimmer.

does it removes most of the no3?

compouds like,phosphate,nitrates and proteins?

BTW,wat does a skimmer remove?

IMO,rotifers can be fed to frys and sps.rots may be too small for some lps.Jus my 2 cents

Dear fellow reefers,please pardon me for bringing up this topic again.I am really in a dilemma to make a decision on whether to get a weipro skimmer or a macro needle-wheel.Fristly,my budget is $100 or a little off $100 or jus below 100.A weipro and a pump may cost as much as a macro,but which skims better?Wat i want is a skimmer that hangs like a hang-on filter.BTW,i do not hve a sump so i do not have a place for skimmers that are too big.Please give honest opinions!

wat kind of angels.large ones or dwarfs?for the sump,try to get a refugium with dsb,LR,macroalgae.

hi,so fast have hair algae already. i dunno why hair algae, don't appear in my tank.How long does it take for them to develop?

try your luck.just change the tube,this was what one of iwarna's worker told me.he said that he tested not changing the ballast and the fixture is working!
