hi everyone,just a question do you guys clean and rinse your media media with saltwater or freshwater? like whenever there is alot of dirt clogged up in the cotton wool,how do you remove it?for me i will blast it with tap water from the hose to remove the clogged algae/dirt. and also ceramic rings,do you have to wash it often?cause i understand that dirt may be trapped in the pores of the ring from time to time.

nope. its Chelmon marginalis from down under. there's another similar looking one called C. muelleri they're amazing,but tough to get feeding,much like copperbands

may i know where can i find replacement impellers for my rio pump? its connected to a macro needlewheel skimmer and the rotor of the impeller seems to easily detach from the main magnetic part.looks kind of loose.

and these guys are beautiful too.But,the cost of maintaining them,the electrical bills for the chillers just makes it so unfeasible,much less talk about their price tags.

i have 2 banded seastars for sales.got them from henry they are very good scavengers.but has grown rather large and aggressive for my tank. take both at $10.

oh i see. do you have any way of differentiating between the sexes.i recalled reading somewhere here that its got something to do with the size of the claws or smth.
