hi fellow reefers,
i have a pretty new tank, about 2.5 months old and i've never tested for the calcium levels. currently i have a few fishes and corals, namely bubbles, zoos mushrooms. I decided to test for the calcium levels today after buying an AQUA test kit and the results came out about 150ppm. the salt i use is marine environment salt. is it normal to have such low levels of calcium? relative to the 400-450 ppm that most pple recommend? does it mean i have to raise the level slowly to 400( which means maybe a whole bottle of calcium liquid) den maintain it there? look forward to your advice. thanks!
