To test calcium,only 2 brands work: Salifert and Seachem. All e others are a waste of money. those 2 cost more but they are reliable.

catfish i juz replied n left my contact.sorry agn act im not referrg to red stick algae,rather its brown n leafy n sways in e current.i felt its nice contrast 2 green macro. btw,irene of reefwld commentd 2 me algae isnt all tt easy to keep.i guess it depends on each tanks conditions,some find it easy some difficult.any thots?

hi all, im in e midst of gettg a refugium... prob is my previous experience with algae or caulerpa is tt they tend 2 die off. i wonder y? another query i hv is whether they need 2 b attachd 2 LR 2 stay alive?i hv seen them floatg ard in reefwld... finally,is the brown seaweed type suitable? thx in advance! i appreciate all help.

got 20cm large clam 2 let go.didnt wan to,but we know the occasional burp,n my tank is oni 1ft tall. so i wld only recommend it 4 taller tanks. its going 4 a steal btw. .

hi v530, tanzys rite.i feel yr corals r not openg not so much due to lack of lite.cos a single actinic alone can make all the cor open.thats my experience. at 1 point i also faced same prob.i was baffled.then i realised tt i hvnt checkd my salinity 4 a wile,due 2 hydrom broke n not replaced.but once i remedied the salinity,everythgs been fine till 2day. hope u can find the cause soon

ya...i feed frozen food soaked in garlic juice too.if fed continuously, shld work.of cos, gd water quality is esp impt now 2 aid in recoverg.
