I don't think that is a Cyano... but the red algae came together with my cheato. Should I remove it if it is evasive or leave it alone? I did dump in a few macro algae feast from reef nutrients but the structure of the algae doesn't resemble it. Does reefers here seen this before?

Thanks JMW. Seems like manual removal will be the way to go for now. Yeah, I read about using emerald crab too. But I think when they punctured the bubbles (to feed), the pores will spread to the tank as well.

I read that these green bubble algae are bad and it is hard to get rid. If accidentally burst one of bubble, it spreads through out the tank. Now, my tanks has it. Starting from one shady corner on my rock and now spreading to other areas in my tank (some grow/stick on my power head, rocks, etc). Any reefers has any advices to remove them? My Phosphate from Hanna colorimeter read 0.02, while the rest like Nitrate, Nitrite and Ammonia on normal test kits shows normal range.

Oysters and clams are filter filters. Their diet are mostly phytoplankton and microalgae (isochrysis). Commercial food like Phyto-Feast from Reef Nutrition, and others does contain the food required. Normal marine tank may not be able to keep them well fed..

A reefer once shared with me his experience of seeding coralline algae. He took a few pieces of small live rocks encrusted with coralline algae and smash it into smaller pieces. Then sprinkle around the tank which in turn "seeds" other rocks. I have not tried this method before but would like to try when I visit LF shops some times.

Bristle worms are excellent scavengers, but indeed, too many of them is pretty unsighted. My previous tank do have those worms around but they ignored my corals. (Not sure about clams as some have opening at the bottom which may be prone to bristle worms)

Primary food for harlequin shrimp is starfish. Some mentioned that it may feed on sea urchins. Tried one before and ate my only starfish in my tank. The shrimp died later due to starvation.
