Thank you soggycookies, but unfortunately i can only do the copper treatment at the moment as i have someone else doing the treatment for me. Due to my NS, however i will heed ur advice and try to dose 1/2 the amount recommended with 2 weeks interval (eventually hitting the full recommended dosage). Will then proceed with about 50% wc a month in, as prolonged exposure to copper could be deadly to the fishes, hopefully all pull through and no other fishes will be lost during this medication period. Hi recently, my tank got infested with ick, have caught all of them out to put into a holding tank, may i know what the most successful treatment has been for you guys?, in terms of medicine and not hyposalinty etc as if will further risk the fish of bring stressed. Hi all, i have been in this reefing hobby for about a month now, got a second hand 2ft cube tank with sump from another fellow reefer, currently running on a deltec 1455 protein skimmer and 2 Marine pure block. I am considering to get more biological filtration to swap out the marinepure block as there have been reports that the blocks leech aluminium as they break down, any recommendations of how i can improve my tank in general?
