Hi, i'm looking for a ball valve to replace the ball valve in my skimmer due to leak. Skimmer is octo reef dnw-110. Anyone has spare to sell? It should be exactly the same or the thread should be exactly the same because 1 end of the valve is glued into the skimmer. see pic Tks.

thanks LittleBurger, will try span aquarium. The other end of the valve is stuck to the skimmer and cannot be removed, so replacement will have to be the same thread size. I had tried other ball valve brands but the thread does not fit exactly.

Hi! Need some help where to get this grey PVC ball valve for reef octopus skimmer. It is leaking and I need to replace it with exactly the same valve, because one is stuck into the skimmer and is not removable. The threaded part is 16mm but the water outlet/hose connector is only 12mm which is less than 1/2inch, so I'm not sure if that already restricts the outflow and decrease water pressure. If there is something where the hose connector side is also 16mm or bigger, then probably it will be better as it will not restrict the outflow. Appreciate any advise. Thanks!

Hi there, anyone know where to buy and if the hose connector at pressure side (output) of AB 2000/1 pump can be replaced by a bigger size connector? Because it only come with 12/16 mm connector. I would like to connect it to 3/4" piping as return piping to main tank. Thanks!

I have tried setting up the eheim 1260 to output direct to tank split to 2 sides, then put my hand at each output and unfortunately, the pressure in both is not strong, quite weak actually (though the overflow became really fast). So end up directing the output to 1 side only. The other side of the tank has output from chiller using another 1260. Tks for your comments.

Tks for replying. Got a 2ft cube with eheim 1260 return direct to tank. I think its strong enough to T the output. But not sure how to best position the 2 outputs.

Would like to get some suggestions on how do you position your return pipe output in the main tank for better water flow or turbulence... Do you T the output to 2 sides of the tank and point the output flow to meet somewhere in the middle? Or just 1 output flow on top/middle/bottom of main tank's water level? Tks!

Hi, would like to get some advise if the recirc pump of DNW-110 skimmer can be replaced by a stronger pump? It comes with OTP-1000 1000 L/hr which seems weak... Can it be changed to OTP-2000 2000 L/hr and still work efficiently? Appreciate any advice or experience to share. Tks!
