as100P comes with the pump so u dun need to worry about whether u can use yr eheim i also jus converted from 2012 to as100P today and volks, it can be hang on, trust me cos i jus bought it todae as for the macro as350P i've been using on my 5footer, i'm very sure i didn't buy the wrong skimmer, it can skim out alot in 3 days during the starting phase of my tank when i had only 2 tangs. during the same period, in comparision, my weipro 2012 (which serves my 10fish fowlr) skims out less in 1 week than wat the 350 (which serves only 2 fishes) skims out in 3 days

hey there i'm also experiencing this bleaching mine was due to extremely low Mg so its due to water parameter as stated by gouldian do check yr calcium also

if i not mistaken rio is just as big perhaps alittle smaller only y not u go down to harlequin or bio ocean to take a look to be sure?

it is possible that yr water quality in yr main tank is low i suggest change 20% water and any overdue carbon it'll definitely help

did 20% water change as suggested by few here....manage to raise Mg from 780 to 900ppm very happy but from here on i should be dosing TM bio calcium cos todaes water change was a nightmare what do u guys think?...worth the money or u guys recommend another round of water change?

for my tank i have quite high no3 but i control its spread but using very strong flowrate provided by tunze and rowaphos in fr upgrading skimmer will dfinitely help since it skims out no3 i'm so successful they dun even appear anywhere u can ask borinz or muarchee how clean my sand and liverocks are

hey zorden...for me a big draw to rio is its high flowrate with low elec consumption and cheap however if i had a small tank and eheim can provide me with the flowrate i need, i'd go for eheim cos QC is very gd and u can rest well without worrying bout the pump

my mushrooms spit those white things whenever i disturb them i'm quite convinced its some kind of defense mechanism i dun tink u need to worry about the health of yr mushrooms if they spit that out wenever u disturb them however...if they jus spit that out wen u never touch them, then perhaps a fish is disturbing it
