for such a big tank, you cannot use the resun cl650 which is only 1/4hp (if i remember correctly) u need sth like 3/4hp. even a 1/2hp would not be sufficient if using mh lights i agree with dazza that her becketts are worth it. good price and great skimmer. you won't regret buying a beckett...but then again, you wouldn't apreciate it fully if u hadn't used a weipro or macro b4

i noticed sth interesting about the neon goby. in the dark, its attracted to light. once, i couldn't find it, and i decided to check on my tank at night. after shining the torch in the sump, it was very cute and swam out! even wen i placed a net in to try to catch it, it would try to escape in the direction of the light... a few days later, i couldn't find this small fish in my huge tank, so i decided to try the torch light method after lights off and sure enough, after holding the torch for a min or so, it appeared!...right in front of the torch, anyone else has this experience? anyone knows of any scienctific papers that can back this experience up?

wil_lee76, po4 level of above 0.3 is undesirable..IMO 0.25 is still high...po4 should be kept at 0 no3 of 30ppm isn't much of a problem, although many sources would tell u keeping it below 20ppm is recommend but then again, i've seen a couple of reefers successful with corals at 50ppm no3...but again, not recommended carbon is used to absorb DOC, heavy metal ions like copper and is used to absorb medications
