i hope i got these facts that i'm about to tell you straight...learnt these from a guru i am very grateful to ok...if your air valve is opened too much, too many bubbles form, these bubbles will then combine with each other forming bigger bubbles that upon collision with smaller ones will explode releasing all the DOC on the surface back to the water closed too much and you have too little air to filter your water with. your air valve should be maintained at between 1 - 2 oclock position as for the water level, you will notice that as your beckett skims, there should be a layer of bubbles at the top that resemble cotton wool or candy floss...what i learnt is that this layer of candy floss should be at the height of the opening of the neck...do this by tuning the gate valve...NOT the air valve. once this is done, monitor your water conditions and if you wan wetter skimmate, just close the gate valve more and if you want dryer, just tune the water level down by opening the water gate. hope my inputs have been correct and valuable. feel free to correct me if i've been mistaken happy new yr!

hi guys, recently i've got red coralline popping up i mean like ang pao red...extremely contrasting with the common purple ones we find on most liverocks question is is this some bad sign of poor water quality or its a good indicator?

hey...isn't the rules explained when u just started? strange ok basically, blacklist are like elite...u dun race with them for no reason u have to earn their respect before they race with you and you dun earn their respect with money...you earn it by completing the tasks or challenges that they set for you. i think u can open a menu by pressing one of the keyboard buttons that shows u wat races u must complete before the blacklister shows his face to race you good luck!

some upgrades are only available after you've defeated a member of the blacklist..it makes the game tougher and more fun to choose the cars, go the to garage or the place where you save your games..i think its the green icon on the map HAve fun!

u can read more on www.liveaquaria.com look for orange linkia starfish if your tank is new, i seriously think that getting the star was not a very wise choice since i believe they need relatively mature tanks...but then again i've never kept orange linkias...perhaps someone with experience can share more with you check it out la, perhaps its your oxygen level?

brother, recently i also have an attack from algae...and i sincerely believe it is cause of the oceanic salt i am using. cos my personal observation is after there were initial signs of just some slight algae growth cos of po4 media exhaust, i decided to do 15% water change to bring the nutrients down due to that time rowa no stock...then siao!...within 2-3days, the algae bloomed extremely quickly. so what i did was 1)i go buy aquaphos and dump all in FR 2)buy electric blue leg hermit 3)get algae blenny 4)got a brittle star IMO, the salt was the one that made the bloom worse and is in accordance with what some had reflected in RC (but note this is my opinion..those who've happily used oceanic salt for a very long time, i'm glad that it has served you well) so after a week or 2, the algae finally began to disappear many thanks to the cleaning crew and aquaphos. so my pt is, get algae problem solved first with help of po4 remover and if neccesary a clean up crew. then as for star polyp growth, these guys when provided with good water quality, bright lights and medium flow will grow well and fast....so dun worry about them...i think they're quite tough
