hi guys, think it'd be very useful if u guys can post pictures of cyano, diatoms and other forms of nuisance algae with the names. i think this would be very beneficial to people who wanna identify what's growing in their tank i too am sometimes confused with what's growing in my tank.

i'm using weipro300 tuned down to min flow with its built in tuner...that's y he thinking weipro300. but if 500 has the built in tuner then i guess no harm getting a more powerful one. remember...as long as rowa dance and there's water coming out frmo outlet....its strong enough...doesn't matter if water trickles in and out

you're in stage of cycling...ammonia followed by nitrite will shoot up sky high its normal and wait for them to drop to 0 before u do anithing take yr time...

oh ya! it jus hit me u should get all yr liverocks then cycle if not later u add liverocks the dieoffs will jus trigger another ammonia spike

any comments? on either the test kits by tropic marin or rowaphos?

selling this as i got tropic marin tester this has colour chart readings for 0.1,0.25,0.5,1.0 and 2.0mg/l. bought for 20.70 used bout 5 times selling at $12/-. can opt to come over to my place directly beside boon keng mrt or mail

the colour chart as u can see...the lowest reading is 0.01mg/l
